‘Gun Control Saves Lives!’ Gavin Newsom Touts Gun Control During March for Life Rally

Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, the leading Democrat in the California gubernatorial race, touted gun control as he addressed hundreds of protesters in Santa Ana on Saturday.

The protesters had gathered to participate in nationwide “#MarchForLife” protests calling for stricter gun control laws following the tragic school shooting at a Parkland, Florida high school that left 17 dead last month.

“We changed the trajectory of the debate, not just in this state but all across the rest of the country,” Newsom said of Proposition 63, a gun control initiative that requires background checks for ammunition and was approved in 2016. “Gun control saves lives!” Newsom told the crowd.

Unfortunately Gavin will probably be the next Governor in CA despite his record and the PR photos of him and gangster Raymond “Shrimpboy” Chow. The voters in CA are so brain dead they would elect Pol Pot as governor if he ran.

It would be interesting to see his answer to any questions as to why he, as mayor, sheltered MS13 gangster Edwin Ramos from ICE until Ramos effectively wiped out the Bolognas’ and only then did Gavin do a 180 and allow violent felon juveniles to be reported to ICE. Gavin has major blood on his hands and would kiss Satans’ ass in Union Square if it furthered his career.

It will get much worse for us CA gun owners. Our only hope of relief is from SCOTUS, hopefully after a couple more Trump appointments.

Really? These schools have VERY STRICT ‘gun control laws’ (ie gun free zone ie no guns allowed- ever) and yet many lives were lost- not saved contrary to what they claim

They're positioning themselves to claim the Pro-Life movement that attracts hundreds of thousands to DC every year is fully on board with their anti-2nd Amendment BS. Usurp any crowd and any movement you can, see?

Anti-gun signs will push their way to the front of any group that a camera points at thereby both making the anti-gun movement look more popular than it is and diluting the Pro-Life effort.
