Demonstrators flooded the streets of Washington, D.C., Saturday following a recent spate of school shootings with signs opposing everything from the Second Amendment to the National Rifle Association to the millions of Americans who own guns.
Activists carried poster boards at March For Our Lives rallies across the country suggesting lawmakers ban guns like they “ban boobs.” Activists were also distraught that guns supposedly have more rights than their uteruses. The rallies come after a Feb. 14 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that killed 17 people.

The people who organized this were the same ones who had Che Guevara posters in the Obama campaign offices in 2008.
Yes, of course you take all threats as credible. We must be vocal and vigilant against all encroachments against our right to KABA.
If it helps, there have been two large anti-gun rallies in DC: the Million Mom March in 2000, and the March on Washington for Gun Control after Sandy Hook. Both of them, over the long-haul, didn't bring about the change for which organizers hoped/we feared. As I said, you must be vigilant and, in those cases, the anti-liberty forces were met with strong pro-liberty forces. Thus, we need to be on guard again in 2018.
That said, I saw some awesome anti-anti gun posters. This one takes the cake:

BTW, my reaction was exactly the same as yours. A friend posted that on another site and I asked the same question. Then I went and googled her name and saw the images from multiple news sources for myself.

My reaction was disbelief but really believed it at the same time.
it isn’t just the Cuban flag patch - it is that she is wearing it on a green Castro the dictator style outfit. I hope Little Havana sees that and is just as alarmed as we are about this “movement” that is supposedly about ending school shootings - nothing they are proposing has anything to do with preventing or stopping them and it is beyond clear the ball was dropped literally several dozen times and ample policies were already in place that would have stopped this had they been enforced just once over the course of numerous opportunities - this wasn’t a case of hindsight being 20/20 and you could piece disjointed parts of the puzzle together after the fact - they were already put together...even the killer himself openly advertised what he was going to do and one time reportedly even called authorities himself saying he had problems. No one did a blasted thing. But the narrative is that it wasn’t caused by the perpetrated, nor the numerous officials who had the opportunity to do something yet did nothing - no, it is the NRA’s fault. That’s a lie. Either these kids are lying, stupid, or both...and there’s nothing to admire about it.
