Because of the $700 & $716 Billion Dollars gotten to rebuild our Military, many jobs are created and our Military is again rich. Building a great Border Wall, with drugs (poison) and enemy combatants pouring into our Country, is all about National Defense. Build WALL through M!

We will indeed have to wait and see as this game plan unfolds. I hope it is true and I support Trump building the wall even if the libtards are on the court house steps Monday AM. Not sure of the legalese of it all. “Legal” has become a rather ambiguous term with most of the Left now openly endorsing breaking of certain laws and extending it now to special privileges for those law breakers. How does one pick and choose which laws get enforced and which ones are flouted nowadays. All very tricky.
That said, perhaps the wall construction falls into the same area I’ve seen with home renovation. In some areas, the laws on razing and then building a new home more strict than renovating an existing home. The new home becomes subject to more stringent setbacks, etc.
I’ve seen many times where a single wall of an old building is left standing and essentially a new home is built up around it. It still technically is classified as a renovation and therefor does not have to meet the more stringent zoning requirements but is instead grandfathered in.
It’s not an illegal wall construction, it’s undocumented wall construction.

I was thinking that this is EVEN more impressive than I originally thought -
By making it a national security issue, he no longer makes it about illegals. He takes away the democrats’ talking points, Hispanics will understand the need (maybe), even some liberals will jump on board.
It’s no longer about Mexico or even the illegals here. He won’t come across as racist or hateful or any other of the liberals’ talking points.
He will be securing our country.

Of course, I need to see the wall built - and finished by the end of his term.
All this talk and money does nothing for us, if the wall isn’t completed.
But I have some hope now that it was all a scheme, and he had this planned from the beginning. Making the wall a national security issue, funding and possibly overseen by the military, makes it something every American can understand. Lots of countries have walls and they are all for protection (well the Berlin wall worked the other way).
Rush, LOL! His ego will never let him know he was wrong. I wouldn’t wait for that. He DID admit he was wrong about backing Bush and his amnesty - but only by saying he wouldn’t carry the GOP’s water for them again. That’s a pretty mild acknowledgement, considering he was backing a traitor and endorsing the invasion.
You know, the democrats’ reaction might just be part of Trump’s plan. By letting them think they won, letting them act as if they won - they can’t back it off now and complain about this. They would look even more stupid than they already do. He might be purposely putting them in a position of having to go along with this, to quiet down the backlash. I don’t know, just a thought. He is being fought on all sides - I’d like to see the opposition quiet for a little bit, so I’m hoping. Making the wall a miliary/national security matter could help lessen the liberals’ talking points.
