President Donald Trump’s Pentagon chief is reversing the pro-transgender policy set by former President Barack Obama and will reject soldiers or recruits who demand to be classified as members of the other sex.
The Pentagon’s rejection of the transgender ideology pushed by Obama is a huge win for the feminist and conservative groups who want to preserve the legal and civic distinctions between the two equal, different and complementary male and female biological sexes.
The rejection of Obama’s policy prompted emotional protests from progressives who wish to outlaw and stigmatize the distinctions between women and men, and between girls and boys. Rep. Nancy Pelosi, the House’s minority leader, described the revived policy as a “hateful” insult to “our brave transgender members of the military who serve with honor & dignity.”

Let’s be honest; the President has rejected trans-gender. Last time he tried this Mattis blocked it until the courts stepped in. I hope this time Mattis is onboard and it will be implemented in a timely manner.

All kidding aside as an E8 stationed on the Submarine Base in Groton, CT I was tasked on my “duty” day to monitor and manage a special barracks chock full of fag sailors awaiting transfer to the surface navy.
Yep, sent them to the skimmers. Druggies, too. Neither fag or druggie was allowed on submarines....but the skimmers loved them. Go figure. LOL

Obviously, a military career is not being pitched to the right audience, else there would be no need of even entertaining the notion that the so-called “Gender dysphoria” demographic could be somehow trained into being good reliable soldiers.
This goes back to another aspect of the culture and how it relates to possession of weapons. As a route to ending “gun violence” in our citizenry, it should be made mandatory that ALL children enrolled in school be introduced to the care, feeding grooming and proper respect for the potential inherent dangers of misuse of projectile weapons. As of the present, a great deal of effort in education is directed at declaring ALL guns as evil, when a lifeless and non-sentient device is neither good not evil.
But the demystification of hand weapons, and the instruction of how to identify, disassemble, clean, reassemble, load and fire such a device, and the proper selection of target, framing that target, aim and correct reaction to the recoil of the weapon, then the re-aiming and repeated firing at target to develop a degree of accuracy and familiarity, are all good and proper use of our educational system.
This way, there is a vastly much larger pool of potential recruits to military and law enforcement services, and as a collateral bonus, those who, through either habitual carelessness or those with malice in mind, may be much more quickly identified, and NEVER allowed access to guns of any kind. Along with the perpetually timid, these persons would be steered into means of defending themselves from assault by those who really do have malicious intent. Either by retreat, sheltering oneself in place, or the more courageous steps of distracting or even direct assault on the active shooter, these additional skills may turn the balance much more quickly than is often the case now.
As it is, a surprisingly large proportion (may be even MORE than half) of Americans have no real concept of the serious intent behind the Second Amendment.
I took basic training at the Great Lakes Naval Training Station in 1962.
I remember one late night the boys in the barracks grabbed 2 pervs, stripped them naked and pushed them out into the snow.
We never saw them again. It was rumored that they were given general discharges.
