The White House announced Friday that the Trump administration would implement its ban on all transgender service in the military "except under certain limited circumstances." It would also stop all use of Defense Department or Homeland Security resources to fund new sex reassignment surgeries, except to protect the health of individuals who have already begun treatment to reassign his or her sex. The announcement was expected, since it was part of President Trump's executive memo in August 2017 renewing a former transgender military service.
According to the White House memo, "transgender persons with a history or diagnosis of gender dysphoria -- individuals who the policies state may require substantial medical treatment, including medications and surgery -- are disqualified from military service except under certain limited circumstances."
The memo further states "the Secretary of Defense, and the Secretary of Homeland Security, with respect to the U.S. Coast Guard, may exercise their authority to implement any appropriate policies concerning military service by transgender individuals."

The memorandum, filed in U.S. District Court in Seattle, states that "transgender persons with a history or diagnosis of gender dysphoria -- individuals who the policies state may require substantial medical treatment, including medications and surgery -- are disqualified from military service except under certain limited circumstances."
Mattis will have some leeway in implementing the policy, the memo states, as will Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen when it comes to the Coast Guard. The pair "may exercise their authority to implement any appropriate policies concerning military service by transgender individuals," the memo reads.

Having “transgendered” people in the military is an error not on a scale of months and years like the omnibus might be. It’s a mistake that will span millennia.

The supporters of gender dysphoria seem to be such as Pritzer - Dem candidate for governor in Illinois, the rich fellow in Omaha and similar. With obama in charge & dem presidents as far into the future as could be seen, there would be BIG money in gender change operations, paid for by the military and universal obamacare. It appears that Trump threw a monkey wrench into their scam.
There are perhaps .005% trannies in the military. It's no great loss to anyone if they can't be crazy on the VA dime.

I’ve seen a lot of people say this on these boards. My question is “On what charge?” He hasn’t done anything that even starts to reach high crimes and misdemeanors. People may not like what he’s done, but we still live in a democracy and the judicial process is still part of it, so please tell me what he’s done to even start an impeachment process? And they’ve tried about everything from trying to prove collusion with Russia without facts to sexual acts possibly accomplished a generation before he became POTUS. Which is not against the law and hasn’t even been determined yet other than an attorney “implying it, only” without displaying proof.

It’s NOT a budget, it’s a spending recommendation ie Omnibus Bill.
The law only requires a president to do what a Budget says to do, but this hunk of paper is only a suggestion.
