I guess my favorite part was when he said something to the effect of, I wont do this again! Dont expect me to do this again! Really? So its only this one time youre screwing everyone who believed that Drain The Swamp B.S.? Well then, no problem, Mr. President, no problem! I'm still pondering the whole thing. FR posts seem to be about 90 percent hysterical. 1 in 10 is citing the many many positive things he has accomplished in 14 years.

You should have supported Bush or Kasich.

Trump had no choice.
If that's the case, then we're better off with a Democrat president. At least when the country goes to sh!t, it will be the Democrats in charge. Now, guess what? The party and president we put in power are responsible for this mess. We own it.
Ain't it great?

But, he needs more conservatives in Congress to get the rest of his agenda passed. And without the wall and ending DACA Trump won't get them, which Trump just shut the door on.

The biggest betrayal of this presidency and will have consequences.
No border wall, no defunding of sanctuary city, and no defunding of Planned Parenthood. What an ass of a president. He could easily have delivered a prime time address and warned Congress that if these three items were not addressed he won’t sign the bill. This man is an idiot.

Ya, and you might as well get on your knees and surender...oh wait, you already have. I didn't sign the surrender, Trump did.

If Trump was going to sign it he should not have Tweeted about the veto. Makes him look stupid.
This fiasco makes me think that he is stupid, honestly. Signing onto this is elector death. How does he not realize this? It's 2006 all over again.

He is going to literally destroy his progressive enemies.
Today’s actions are trivial in comparison to the coming destruction to the progressives

I was wondering that myself. Exactly WHO can release or withhold the money allowed by Congress. The wall was approved many, many years ago, but was never funded. Can Trump withhold the release of the funds for the things in this bill he and we disagree with? If not, who can???

You and me both. I feel sick over this. He gave up everything he promised - PP, obamacare, etc. For what? Military spending? Possibly he could have gotten what he wanted for the military through the DOD. Instead, he sold us out -

"Congress was going to override his veto, even if he vetoed it. He had no choice." Yes he did. Trump should have vetoed it, and forced congress to override him, but by signing it he now owns this crap sandwich.

Anyone should, on balance, be thrilled with what Trump has accomplished in 14 months. It easily surpasses what Reagan accomplished in his first 14 months, But, he needs more conservatives in Congress to get the rest of his agenda passed. In other words we should just lay back and enjoy it. Oh well some of us older ones are used to it.
