Bank Of America Sponsors Anti-Gun Panel

Bank of America further solidified its corporate position in favor of gun control after sponsoring an anti-gun discussion hosted by Axios on Friday.

Axios co-founder Mike Allen facilitated the talk between activist and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student David Hogg and Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut.

The event, held in Washington, D.C., occurred at 8 a.m. and had no outside sponsors beside BoA. Despite the fact that it was billed as a conversation “on gun safety in America,” there was virtually no disagreement between Hogg and Blumenthal on policy.

Allen asked Hogg what “the biggest mistake the media made in covering your situation?”

“Not giving black students a voice, honestly,” said Hogg. “My school’s about 25 percent black, from what I can recall, and about, I believe, 50 percent white.”

BoA was one of the earliest financial institutions to signal its support for gun control measures following the Parkland shooting. The bank said in February it would ask its clients who manufacture so-called assault weapons how they plan on helping to end mass shootings.

“An immediate step we’re taking is to engage the limited number of clients we have that manufacture assault weapons for non-military use to understand what they can contribute to this shared responsibility,” read a statement from the bank.

We need to start doing this.

Get active and march on Washington.
Block the welfare centers and planned parenthood en masse
Block congress until they listen to us and change the laws.

I’m done losing.

Nope.

The cuckservatives picked up all of their marble and to their quiet places to lament their loss.

In the mean time, I don’t need citibank for financial resources to buy or build any firearms.

I prefer to keep the powers that be guessing.

So that’s Citibank and BofA.

What major banks have not gotten on board with the Leftist gun grabber agenda? Where does Wells Fargo stand here? Yes I am looking to close my accounts and move my funds.....I just don’t want to go to the trouble and then get stabbed in the back by the next bank right afterwards.

What business does a "bank" have to do with guns? I'll look into this further but what I know so far suggest I will change banks. Luckily there are many other banks to do business with.

You don’t need anything more than a checking account in a podunk bank. Credit is dangerously stupid (I say from experience), so dump all but one debit card and move long-term money into investments (say, gun & ammo stocks).

Everybody here should already know this, but for those youngins I will repeat it:

The way our banking system operates, on a shoestring, using fractional reserve banking. There is a sure fire way to force ANY bank into Insolvency overnight.

If only 10% of a Banks Customers closed their accounts and WITHDREW all their funds in CASH, the Bank will be forced to close within 24 hours by the Government.

If you merely close your account and transfer to another bank, the Federal Reserve Cartel keeps all the insolvency internal and immediately makes up the Shortfall to keep the bank solvent.

TAKING OUT YOUR CASH prevents the FED from Stepping in until it is TOO LATE!!!

I dumped Citibank some 30 years ago. Wells Fargo 15 years ago. And now BofA can follow. Never had personal accounts at any of them but stopped dealing with them and yanked accounts in other areas.

Nonsense, they will give you all you want, you just have to fill out the form for over $10k in one transaction. My brother takes $100K out at a time in Cash and has for many many years.
