None of the Congressmen and Senators who voted for the budget bill could have possibly have read it.
Only Pelosi, Schumer and possibly Ryan and McConnell know what is in the bill.
I doubt that Trump knows what is in the bill. He was probably given a short, dishonest summary. Trump's staff said he would sign it. I think Trump is just beginning to realize what is in it.
Trump was betrayed and put into an extremely difficult position. Trump needs to veto the bill and take his case directly to the American people.
There is no good decision in this case. The Democrats, the media and the Washington establishment know they have Trump in an extremely difficult position. They have a strategy to undermine Trump whatever he does.

The bill has been in the works and discussed before congress for months. The basics don’t change. All you have to read at this point are the revisions. You should hve read the rest over a period of time.

If President Trump signs it, then he will make it work for America.

I would have preferred Trump to veto the bill and take the heat. If overridden, he could ask the voters to elect candidates supporting his agenda in the midterms.

Didn’t there use to be a certain amount of time set aside for public (the People) to debate?
Or, did I slip through another time portal, again?

They badly need to change the rules.
- They need a versioning system so that you can instantly know that the part of the bill dealing with commerce is the same bill you reviewed last month with no changes or these specific changes.
- Each department should be funded with a separate bill. and that bill should be reviewed a month in advance. And it should be voted on separately.
- If they want to combine it all into an omnibus bill, then pass each department on a provisional vote, and then roll up approved department bills into a master with clearly defined changes.

Well, congresscritter, where is the roll call vote that allowed them to dispense with the reading of the bill? Oh, there wasn’t one? In other words, you didn’t give a damn about whether the bill was read or not. You’re just being yet another lying politician that can’t be trusted to tell me the sky is blue.

I want to be a congress creature. Get paid $180k, maintain 2 households and retire as a multi millionaire with gold plated health care. Best part you do not have to do your job, sponsor any important legislation, read any bills and spend half the year on break or paid vacations. Of course I would have to give my soul to the devil. NOT WORTH IT. Almost all of them are bastards.
