Yep. I didn’t agree with his other politics, but he had the guts to stand up and say what was right when it needed saying.
A good man. Condolences for his family and friends.
I have since said: When Zell Miller left the Democrat Party, he turned out the lights when he left.
There is not one single Democrat politician left who is worth a cup of warm spit. The Sixties Leftist Radicals have wholly completed their takeover of the Democratic Party.

He wasn’t exactly Scoop Jackson or Calhoun, but he also wasn’t exactly any of the yahoos on the D side of the Senate now. I don’t know the house Blue Dogs well enough to comment, but I suspect that he would compare favourably with all of them.
