BREAKING: Former Georgia Gov. Zell Miller has died.
He was the last of them, anyway.
And his interview with Chris Matthews after was the best political theatre I’d ever seen up to that point.

A fine man and a patriot. I had the honor of meeting him briefly at CPAC years ago. Maybe 2004? May he rest in peace.

I’ll never forget his fiery speech at the RNC years ago. “Zig Zag Zell” as he was called in Georgia will be missed.

The only time in my life I voted Democrat was for Zell Miller for Governor. He was one in a million.
The BEST Governor of Georgia and BEST Senator in my memory, along with being The LAST descent Democrat in the Country.
There was once a time when the democrats were not the anti-God socialist party they have morphed into. Now it’s the party of baby murder on demand, homosexual “marriage’ and every other degenerate practice you can think of. Once it was the party of the working man and the common folk. Zell Miller, Reagan, and all the other former democrats would not recognize today’s democrats.

This man had character and guts and great humor. I often wondered why he’d become so quiet in the recent past. I’d have been interested to learn his thoughts on politics and culture. Today’s dems could learn so much from him.
May his soul find peace and his family be comforted.
DARN! DARN! I know no one can live forever but why do we have to lose the good ones? I could run out of fingers and toes counting the ones who should bite the dust! He stood for something and didn’t stick around DC or the democrat party when it was clear they didn’t stand for -and fought against - what he believed in. Sorry to lose him.
Read his book “National Party No More” - that will give you a lot of insight into the man.
He went to the mountains to retire, wanted to sit on his front porch and shoot rattlesnakes....He left a lot of those behind him when he departed DC...
Good man, his voice will be sorely missed.
Webb is also pro abortion. The biggest democrat hypocrite of all is reserved for Joe Manchin, who claims to be pro life, pro real marriage, pro 2nd Amendment, etc, If this were true he would be a republican. Manchin is a sneaky snake who pretends to be a republican to get elected then once elected votes with Pelosi 98% of the time. I sure wish the good people of WV would send his ass packing and send a real republican to the Senate.
