It occurred to me this week that Mueller’s operation was a cover for the real, massive work being done behind the scenes. Mueller was hired to mask the rest of the DOJ work from the press.

I do not believe this is the case. Time will tell though. My personal belief is that he is running a coverup operation for the Deep State, period.

Which would explain the 18,500 indictments filed in the November -December time period.

I am not absolutely positive, but I believe that number is inclusive of all DoJ indictments, not just indictments coming from Mueller's investigation. But again, time will tell.

Patience, Grasshopper. Patience.

Sessions is going about this in the right and propper manner. Crossing all of the T’s and dotting all of the I’s. He wants an ironclad case when he strikes and honestly, that’s exactly what I want to see happen.

Nail those treasonous bastards to the wall and NOT allow them any wiggle room to escape on.

According to Sundance wasn’t Rosenweasel supposed to have used the IG report back in January to start draining the swamp? More white hat fantasy from CTH.

It’s from the entire DOJ. but a normal number for that period of time would be about 1500 to 1800. Somebody is doing a lot of work outside of Mueller and his minions.

Well any attempt to determine what all the inflated indictment numbers are related to can obviously be nothing more than idle speculation. Always fun to speculate, but usually are highly inaccurate. I'm pretty sure we both hope & pray they are against the bad actors we think deservedly warrant them. 8>)

But I still hold my breath, only because nothing is normal anymore. Good guys go to jail and bad guys get set free. People we viewed as good, turned out to really be bad. Perhaps Mueller is a person we view as bad but is really good, but so far I have seen no evidence of that. Sessions viewed initially as good, now appears to be bad. Hopefully we will soon see evidence that sets the record straight for both of them. Comey has already been proven beyond the shadow of doubt as being bad.

It will be interesting to see what unfolds, justice and the rule of law enforced, or Civil War.

those same Democrats will have a really tough time spinning on a dime and calling him a political hack.

You would think that is true. But, the Dems have no problem forgetting what they said and did yesterday and reversing their position 180 degrees today. When you have no ethics, no morals and no standards, all that matters is the lie du jour.

Mueller is as dirty as anyone can be. His sole purpose is to try and protect the corrupt DoJ and FBI leaders from prosecution and prison. That's why he will never end his investigation on his own.

Since Uranium One is part of the DOJ IG investigation and Prosecutor brought in to work with the IG, Mueller is very likely one of the targets in the grand jury proceedings.

Federal grand jury witnesses are not bound to secrecy. Someone subpoenaed and questioned about high-profile political figures almost always talks about it.

It would be impossible for a large number of political figures to be the subject of grand juries without a lot of blabbing without even mentioning true ‘leaks’.

No. Conservative Treeehouse usually jumps to fantastical conclusions based on the most trivial of evidence. This article is no different.

Yes.

From the column:

You and I might be frustrated with the pace of the activity for a myriad of righteous reasons. However, we must also remind ourselves of the scale and scope of the corruption here that is inherent within the BIG PICTURE.

All of this was done on purpose. None of this was accidental.

The prosecutor could, likely would, be having to outline the biggest political conspiracy in the history of politics.

It is entirely possible officials within the CIA, NSA, DOJ, FBI, State Department, ODNI, and national security apparatus along with the Obama White House, Clinton campaign officials, politicians, career bureaucrats and possibly judges are all entwined and involved.

Furthermore, from the column:

Lastly, where all this appears to be going. It is not likely there will be a ‘second special counsel’ per se’. With a prosecutor already working with Inspector General Horowitz that person already has a thorough knowledge of all the evidence.

As soon as the IG publishes his report, the prosecutor can begin subpoenaing witnesses. And now we know there’s already a Grand Jury seated somewhere hearing the criminal evidence he/she has carved out from the overwhelming IG evidence as collected.

I support your view. I’m for keeping it simple, until it isn’t.

Also, some corroboration wouldn’t hurt. We’re spreading someone’s interpretation of a reply to congress.

Not a single congressman has characterized this reply from the DOJ as even unusual, or unique, certainly not as a declaration of a Grand Jury.

There may be a secret Grand Jury, probably in ARKANSAS, but I think DOJ would have to inform Oversight and the Judicial Committee? If so, Congress would want to be more cautious about what they ask for, from DOJ.

Yes. Supposition. He does that too often while invoking Sir William of Ockham.
