Only agree with about half of her choices, but enjoyed the listing nonetheless.

I was listening to
A New World Record (1976) by Electric Light Orchestra on the bus this morning.
Yesterday, I listened to Face The Music (1975) by ELO.
I must be stuck in a time warp.

The only tolerable one was 8. Losing My Religion
Like 90’s music as a whole, the rest of the list was unmemorable.

Never heard of any of those songs. The best song of the 1990's is:
Don't Give Us a Reason--Hank Williams, Jr. (1990)

Only 2 I’m sure I know are the REM one and Jeremy. I’m sure I’ve heard most of them, but they made no lasting impression on me.

Music went off the rails in the early 90's, when grunge/modern rock and hip hop took over. Country was good around the time of the alt-country era, but is now just as bad as everything else.

Who is the “we” in the title? I’d rather puncture my ears with a hacksaw blade than listen to any of that aural poison. If they played those tunes for the milk cows, they’d squirt cottage cheese.

This list is pure crap. There are about 3 decent songs, all of which are in the more depressing/emo category, and one good one, and the rest are trash. This author has horrible taste in music.

I'm not even a big fan of 90s music, and I think most of these songs are terrible. Here's five right off the top of my head that are pretty decent songs in any era:
"Key West Intermezzo" by John Mellencamp
"Standing Outside A Broken Phone Booth" by Primitive Radio Gods
"Far Behind" by Candlebox
"The World I Know" by Collective Soul
"Sullivan Street" by the Counting Crows

1960s: Lots of great and memorable music
1970s: An incredible amount of great and memorable music
1980s: Lots of great and memorable music
1990s: Some great and memorable music
2000s: eh, a good song or two here or there
2010s: Crap and nothing but crap.
