The 23-year-old man linked to the deadly bombings that rocked Austin, Texas, and surrounding areas over the past month had a "target list" of future locations he wanted to strike, the chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security said Thursday.
Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, said that authorities have discovered that Mark Anthony Conditt, 23, had a "target list of future targets" including residences and addresses discovered by authorities.
"I think he had pulled these addresses, these were his future targets. It was a target list." he said on "America's Newsroom."
McCaul added that based on the data authorities were able to retrieve from Conditt, they were able to go the homes and "clear them" from any suspicious packages.
"We were also able to use technology to find a digital footprint of where his cellphone had been, so that the key evidence was getting his cellphone number so that when he turned his cellphone immediately the SWAT teams descended on him at about 3 oclock in the morning so we got close to him before he blew himself up," he said.
McCaul told Fox News that authorities are now looking at those addresses that Conditt pulled to try to find a link between them.
"That is what we are looking at right now. What is the common denominator between all these victims, or is it just completely random?" he said.

When I was 12 years old I used to make my own explosives and detonation devices.
I have heard that those high-capacity batteries were FULLY semi-automatic!
First that I’ve heard of this.
That’s what I figured, too.
Maybe he got them from clock boy!
Hehe, I use the 15 amp hour cylinder batteries in some of my projects, ordered direct. Wheeeeee. I might have to check into those bicycle lights for nighttime projects. If your batteries are crapping out early, either theyre very poor quality, or being charged/discharged improperly. Good batteries should last for years.
Of course, there is also the possibility of thermal issues. They really prefer to be comfortable, not too hot, not too cold.
Best of luck!
“’very unique’ batteries purchased from Asia”
Isn’t that where the majority of consumer goods originate anyway?

Sneaky, high-cap, rechargeable 3.6V 1200mAh, Li-ION 14500’s, likely. Hiding in plain sight like boring, mild-mannered 1.3V AA cells.
He may have a ruggedized phone.
I would assume they are the 3 volt Chinese batteries that you find in Vape pens and high power batteries. Something like a 18650 or bigger. Not like these things are rare when you can buy them buy the dozen on amazon or ebay.
Your wifi tracks you as you pass houses with comcast in them... that works with the cell towers to give pretty detailed information.
“We should do the same here in America.”
Sorry, but we have something in the US called “the Constitution”, and that specifies that we don’t punish people for crimes that they didn’t commit. If you love the Israeli method so much, go move there.
“It is beginning to sound like the government grabbed all cell phone location information on every phone that was near each bombing, and then pulled a list of every phone that had all / most sites in common”
they could also utilize active cell phones at the time ad location of where the packages were shipped. presumably FedEx markings on the exploded package wrappers lead to those shipping outlets where the cops obtained the surveillance video.
bomber was smart enough to build bombs, but fortunately too stupid to leave his cell phone at home while he was out and about doing his nefarious deeds. Dude should have also hand-delivered all of his bombs. I guess the guy never watched any of the CSI or 48 Hours shows ... probably just got his bomb recipes off the web and winged the rest ...
The IDF policy of destroying the the homes of terrorists and their families has worked to decrease the number of attacks.
Bombing and terrorism are acts of war and there is no due process on the battlefield.
“Bombing and terrorism are acts of war and there is no due process on the battlefield.”
Gee, so what is to stop your political opponents from declaring anything that you might do to be “terrorism” and revoking your due process rights, once you decide that is a good route to go in the USA?
