A timely book by Peter Schweizer, Secret Empires, explains how Chinese companies purchased U.S. politicians to gain trade advantages. When you understand this process, you better understand why those same politicians today are against the Trump trade policy that is antithetical to their purchased interests.
Reminder: U.S. Chamber of Commerce President Tom Donohue is warning President Trump not to take any trade action against China or he will unleash his purchased control agents within congress and financial media to destroy his presidency.
Allow me to re-emphasize:
All opposition to President Trump stems from the underlying financial and economic policy. All opposition is about money!
When you ask the why question five times you end up discovering the financial motive for all opposition. It doesnt matter who the group is; the opposition is ultimately about money. There are trillions at stake.
Donohue takes-in hundreds of millions in payments from multinational corporations who hold a vested interest in keeping the U.S. manufacturing economy subservient to China. The U.S. CoC then turns those corporate funds into lobbyist payments to DC politicians for legislative action that benefits their Chinese trade deals. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the #1 lobbyist in DC; there are trillions at stake.

Bump!
Chicoms, a word not really said much if at all the last decade or so.
So the mystery of how lawmakers get so rich on their salaries is solved...they sell out the middle class to enrichen themselves.
I would have public executions of all those involved....this makes me sick. the sickest part is that a full 1/3 of the republicans serving participated possibly more. and my guess would be about the same percentage or more of the democrats participated.
“So the mystery of how lawmakers get so rich on their salaries is solved...they sell out the middle class to enrichen themselves.”
NO! They sell out this country”.
Wow. Mega PING! This story hit me like a sledgehammer.
I am sure the Clintons as well as Mitch McConnell and McCain are just as guilty of this crap.
Trump needs a task force to clean up DC.
we know exactly what our govt is doing to undermine the ordinary citizen...
they are not working for us, but for the elite rich and their minions...
I’m personally wondering — since everyone assumed Hillary would win, the Clinton’s and ChiComs have long been corruption buddies, and Kim is arguably a ChiCo colluder if not puppet — what Hillary was to have given the ChiComs and how much it was sold for?
I consider it possible that the NORKS are playing out some game that may have been designed on the premise that it wpuld be Hillary, that she would get a diplomatic victory in Korea (in addition to likely cash) in return for something China wanted, and that Kim has decided to make a go of it for what he was to get from the deal anyway.
I’m not gonna speculate that the awful adoration of his relative at the Olympics didn’t just happen either and it may have been part of the plan ... I have a real low opinion of the MSM who were fawning over her.

Trump needs to go public with all this congress being bought right out from under their responsibilities to the people who put them there.
One of the main reasons i voted for Trump was he could not be bought.. so speak the problem publicly.
All the corruption has to be brought to the people.. have a writer write the speech and Trump read it from a teleprompter or have someone give it.. but start naming names on all this stuff. Explain it and also say the media is lying to you.. what do you want done.

This is just another example why the 17th Amendment needs to be repealed.
It’s no shock that our politicians are for sale.
The shock is that they are so cheap compared to what is bought.
