Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner Promised a Criminal Justice Revolution. He’s Exceeding Expectations.

In his first week on the job, he fired 31 prosecutors from the DA’s office because they weren’t committed to the changes he intended to make. “Change is never easy, but DA Krasner was given a clear mandate from the voters for transformational change,” his spokesperson said at the time. “Today’s actions are necessary to achieve that agenda.”

Next, Krasner obeyed a court order to release a list of 29 officers from the Philadelphia Police Department that were on a “do-not-call list” — meaning that they were so tainted that they would be considered unreliable as witnesses. The police officers on the list had either been charged with crimes or found responsible for misconduct in internal police probes conducted by the department’s Board of Inquiry. Among the offenses, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the police officers had lied to their fellow investigators, filed false reports, used excessive force, driven drunk, and burgled.

Krasner looks like a bit of a liberal but I have to applaud him for rooting out the liberal-left Democrat corruption that has been endemic in Philadelphia for decades. He's a pretty courageous guy to take on the corrupt police, prosecutors, judiciary, and elected government of that cesspool of a city. I hope nothing happens to him and I wish him all success.

True, he’s a lib with an agenda but he’s also taking on the entrenched corruption of the Philly Democrat machine that’s been enriching privately operated prisons.

I recall at least two of their judges are now doing time for taking bribes in return for sentencing people to private prisons on BS charges.

Seriously, the guy is risking his life trying to clean up the system like he is. Liberal he may be, I still respect him for pushing back against his own party’s corruption.

Krasner got 750K from Soros to run for office - and openly bragged about it during his his campaign - he also brags about his support for Black Lives Matter, and his drive to “reform” the criminal justice system in Philadelphia will be to replace the liberal-left corruption with left-progressive barbarism - Philadelphia will pay dearly in terms of lost freedom of speech, diminished justice for all including especially those who don’t support the leftwing agenda, and lack of protection from crypto-jihadist activists.....
