Mueller's involvement in one of the FBI's most embarrassing cases
resident Donald Trump directed angry tweets at Special Counsel Robert Mueller over the weekend. The tweets were prompted by the Department of Justices decision to fire Deputy Director Andrew McCabe Friday as recommended by the bureaus Office of Professional Responsibility took action on McCabe after the DOJs Inspector General handed over evidence that the former FBI agent lied under oath and leaked information to the media.
Trumps Tweets on Mueller appeared to some Republicans and Democrats to be a veiled threat to fire Mueller. Those lawmakers warned the president that it would be the beginning of the end for his presidency if Trump fired the special counsel. They also criticized Trumps attorney John Dowd for suggesting over the weekend that the Mueller probe should end. Ty Cobb, the presidents personal attorney, reassured lawmakers on Monday that the president does not plan to fire Mueller.
But Dowd is not alone.
McCabes firing should raise serious questions as to where Muellers investigation is going. Muellers past involvement in cases casts a very different light on the former FBI director than the one painted by his proponents and the media, said David Schoen, a civil rights and defense attorney. Schoen has been outspoken on the special counsel and criticized Muellers top attorney Andrew Weissmanns involvement in the investigation, as reported.

I saw Sarah and Schoen speaking of this earlier tonight on Hannity.
Mueller has been foul for a very long time.
As soon as I saw the headline I thought of Whitey Bulger. It’s also worth recalling that Boston was the epicenter of the Kennedys’ numerous scandals, John Kerry’s political career, and the church sexual abuse scandals, to name a few items that would be in the Boston FBI’s files. Mueller’s history in California is also scandal-ridden (David Asimov).
Seems that Isaac Asimov’s son was running a big time duplicating service and was busted. The local DA was pressured into giving the case to the feds; Mueller in this case.
And the case simply stalled until Asimov was given (IIRC) a 6 month suspended sentence.
He has been a dirty fixer for a very long time, in some pretty suspect ways.
Awesome post & outstanding expose by sarah carter!!
Affleck and Damon wanted to make a movie about Whitey Bulger. Maybe they backed off because they didn’t want to defame Mueller.
As I have mentioned before, under Muellers watch in Boston, the second most corrupt relationship between an FBI agent (John Connolly, now in prison for murder-related charges) and his information (Whitey Bulger) unfolded, said Schoen. Mueller was neck deep in it and has never answered the questions that the media asked rhetorically, but that should have been asked by a grand jury of Congressional Committee. Even such dubious sources as the NY Times, Boston Globe, and Huffington Post have demanded answers. Many have suggested he should never have been FBI Director.
I’ve grown partial to Sara Carter, but she made a MAJOR, egregious error in this article which merits contacting her:
She wrote, If you have an innocent client, Mr. Dowd, act like it” alluding to Gowdy having said that referencing Mueller. Everyone here knows that it was directed at Trump.
This was well-covered in a previous thread.
Remember the anthrax investigation?
And the biggest off the rails project in the history of the FBI?
Both under Mueller.

Trump warned Meuller to stay away from his business records; natch that is where Meuller has landed now out of desperation. Is he hoping to be fired and precipitate an impeachment? ...By Sens Graham, Flake, McCain, et al?
Either Trump will have to fire Meuller OR REFUSE TO HAND OVER HIS BUSINESS RECORDS! For a billionaire to hand over his most personal financial records to his enemies would be suicide! ...worse than impeachment. Let Trump challenge the Rinos and 'rats to impeach him. I just do not think they could pull it off.
Isn't it the credible Monmouth Poll that has found a majority of Americans want the Meuller probe to end? Time for a gunfight at the OK Corral?
Bob and his cabal have always sucked at telling or finding the truth
I think I misspelled ‘Mueller’... time for sleep...
This is about Mueller getting ahold of and leaking Trumps tax returns
Just certain parts of them, though
I believe you have misread the article. Here is the actual portion of the article
If you have an innocent client, Mr. Dowd, act like it, Gowdy told Fox News Sunday, who added Muellers probe should continue.
She quotes Gowdy talking to Dowd. There is no reference to Mueller
And a Kennedy has been funding the howls of one of more of David Brock’s flying monkey groups.
