In a memo to fellow House members, state Rep. Cris Dush (R) said the ruling overriding Pennsylvanias U.S. House district lines amounted to an overstep of judicial authority under the state Constitution, which lays out the path by which a bill becomes a law in this case, a bill to delineate the district lines after the decennial Census and reapportionment process.
The five Justices who signed this order that blatantly and clearly contradicts the plain language of the Pennsylvania Constitution engaged in misbehavior in office, Dush wrote to fellow members...
While the legislature is run by Republicans, Democrats hold a 5-2 majority on the state Supreme Court...
The state House has the sole power to impeach justices, and Republicans control 120 of 203 state House seats. Actually removing justices would require a two-thirds vote in the state Senate. Republicans control 34 of the 50 state Senate seats enough to remove any justice on party-line votes.

Let it be done....
The people of Pennsylvania are tired of gerrymandering and the new map corrects past mistakes that created unfair Congressional Districts and attempted to diminish the impact of citizens votes, Wolf said Monday.
But Republicans control both chambers of the state legislature...
Its about time. Get in the habit. In a few years go for scotus. A judicial scalp or two every year would do wonders.
Nothing is more important than bringing an end to judicial tyranny. It is the single most deadly threat the Republic faces. Without an honest judiciary, our system of government simply cannot endure.
Kabuki. The GOP is secretly delighted they’ll become a permanent minority, and President Trump will be impeached, and they can continue destroying America with their radical leftist anti-American democrat Bong Buddies.
Fine. Will it work? Don’t waste anyone’s time. California recalled it’s governor and got Arnold. The more things change the more they remain the same.
dare we hold our breath waiting for the Repubs to actually do this?
They’ll roll over and play dead.
Or if they actually do it, the Democrat-dominated state SC will rule it unconstitutional.
The fix is in.
Last paragraph says it all. If they can stand together, they can do it: “The state House has the sole power to impeach justices, and Republicans control 120 of 203 state House seats. Actually removing justices would require a two-thirds vote in the state Senate. Republicans control 34 of the 50 state Senate seats enough to remove any justice on party-line votes.”
They just disenfranchised my vote in PA-18. Illegally redrew my district so my vote will now be lost in a sea of blue voters.
I am a Republican PA voter and I say if the GOP cant get this done they DESERVE to get redistricted out of existence.
About time this started to happen .
I am so sock of judges who ignore the rule of law in order to push their liberal agenda.
Do it, remove them all.
And while we’re at it, make it policy that as soon as we are ABLE to remove any Democrat from any office at any level, we do so. We do not hesitate and we do not wait for them to give further cause; merely being a Democrat is plenty enough evidence of moral turpitude.
Don’t think for a minute that the Republicans in PA are not corrupt.
I have two friends who were elected to serve in the legislature in PA.
I’ve heard the behind the scenes stories.
That said, I’ll be surprised if this goes forward - thought it should.
Almost makes you wonder why we even need a legislature, apparently judges can just do everything. They feel like the most powerful branch of government at this point.
In before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court rules their impeachment and removal unconstitutional.
Git ‘r dun.
Fine. Will it work? Dont waste anyones time. California recalled its governor and got Arnold. The more things change the more they remain the same.

DEFEATISM does not become a FReeper. I give props to these Pennsylvania Republican legislators who are willing to attempt to correct this judicial usurpation by these RAT agendanista judges. I wish them success and am proud of them for this attempt.
Big Balls if this happens...
