In a memo to fellow House members, state Rep. Cris Dush (R) said the ruling overriding Pennsylvanias U.S. House district lines amounted to an overstep of judicial authority under the state Constitution, which lays out the path by which a bill becomes a law in this case, a bill to delineate the district lines after the decennial Census and reapportionment process.
The five Justices who signed this order that blatantly and clearly contradicts the plain language of the Pennsylvania Constitution engaged in misbehavior in office, Dush wrote to fellow members...
While the legislature is run by Republicans, Democrats hold a 5-2 majority on the state Supreme Court...
The state House has the sole power to impeach justices, and Republicans control 120 of 203 state House seats. Actually removing justices would require a two-thirds vote in the state Senate. Republicans control 34 of the 50 state Senate seats enough to remove any justice on party-line votes.

Unfortunately, judges on the ballot are not a big deal to most.

George Soros ran a slate of liberal justices who got voted in giving Democrats control of the state’s top court.
If they’re all removed, Democrat Governor Wolf can simply name replacements.
Good luck with it.

Nothing is more important than bringing an end to judicial tyranny. It is the single most deadly threat the Republic faces. Correct.

Soros and his allies have been focusing on getting leftists installed in under the radar, obscure offices that aren’t paid as much attention to - and it does indeed have an impact. Sinister and clever strategy to focus on the “dog catcher” races to get people in place who can in fact have influence on policy - pealing away things piece by piece.

Or if they actually do it, the Democrat-dominated state SC will rule it unconstitutional. No they won't. At the point that the PA state senate votes for conviction with a 2/3 majority, those members CEASE to be judges, and won't be voting on anything.

The PA legislature should go further by proposing a State Constitutional amendment stating that partisan gerrymanders are not judiciable.

Unfortunately, judges on the ballot are not a big deal to most. Do not know about other states but in AZ it is hard to get info about the judges on the ballot.

A simple majority in the house, which the Republicans have.
Then a 2/3rds majority in the senate, which they also have. (34/50), or 68%.

The state legislature has pretty much the sole power to do this:
US Const, Art. I
The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof
Time, place, and manner covers pretty much EVERYTHING in the law. What it doesn’t cover is fairly insignificant.

Shame on these crooked Leftist judges. Time for the GOP get a backbone and punch back.

I’ll do the Democrap defense on why it’s not a Gerrymander. Nobody named Gerry is involved. The district doesn’t look like a salamander. Hope that helps.
