A student pulled out a gun and shot two other students at a high school in southeast Maryland Tuesday morning before the shooter was fatally wounded, the St. Mary’s County sheriff says.
The student entered Great Mills High School in Great Mills at the beginning of the school day and shot a female student in a hallway, Sheriff Tim Cameron told News4. A male student also was hit by a bullet.

Probably not but I get your point. I know MD has been crazy about gun laws since at least the 1980s. I went to the range with a friend their in 1986 and even then he had to disassemble the weapons and store the parts in the car in a certain manner to be legal while transporting them. It was already a pain to be a legal gun owner there 30 years ago and I can imagine it has only gotten worse since that time. I think being right next to DC and having lots of gubmint workers live there is probably a big part of that. Northern Virginia is pretty liberal for the same reason.

Lived about 2 hours.
I know many of those working in ER where he died.
Regardless, being shot at by the SRO most likely prompted the shooter to take himself out. Will this make the news ?
