Lacey Township NJ – -(Ammoland.com)- Two students at Lacey Township High-school, NJ were suspended for posting a picture of themselves shooting guns at a private gun range with the caption “fun day at the range“. The school's zero tolerance policy says that students cannot be in possession of weapons at any time, whether on or off campus.
Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs today demanded in a lawyer letter that the Lacey Township School District immediately rescind disciplinary actions taken against several students for posting social media photos of themselves near firearms at a target range.

Hmmmm. Is outspoken speech a weapon? Cut out all tongues.
We never did that. But we would set up our army men on the dirt piles and then take turns shooting each other’s army.

I remember that. One-pump rule, heavy coats, and goggles. Had a sore loser and fighting every time, but nobody's eyes ever got shot out.
Last time I was in New Jersey was a on a cross-country motorcycle trip. Had to find a service center, so I stopped at a phone booth (yes it was a long time ago). Annoyed at finding the phone book ripped out, I complained out loud why someone would do that. Straight out of central casting, a Jersey Shore type guy was walking by and said, "cuz yer in Joisey".

First of all they are not “weapons” when being use at a range, they are “firearms”. Weapons are used to kill of maim people. We need to stop ceding the language to the left.
These are the same Liberals who will defend Planned Parenthood as vehemently as they fight against a Constitutional right and to control our children.

We live in N.J. and you may not think that it is possible but my father who hunted woodchucks for farmers kept his rifles in a glass front cabinet in our living room. He kept them that way until the late sixties or so when the gun grabbing really started. And we lived in Newark & East Orange. At one time this state was normal but those days are long gone.
Is your school a regional H.S. or a small town school? I also live in N.J.

Just how are you supposed to raise your kids with this insane policy?
You’d have to lock them in a padded room,
with nothing else in it to insure they
couldn’t get their hands on a “weapon”.
Mom and dad would have to hand feed them,
as knives and forks are taboo. No TV or
smart phones either, least they see evil images of “weapons”.
And no conversation, as words can
be used as “weapons” as well.

Of course not. There is a list with a dozen acceptable church choices posted on the schools bulletin board. You are free to choose any of those.
Totalitarian Progressive control freaks think they own the children of this country. If I had a kid in that school I'd pull him out so fast the vacuum would cause a thunder clap.
