Lacey Township NJ -(Ammoland.com)- Two students at Lacey Township High-school, NJ were suspended for posting a picture of themselves shooting guns at a private gun range with the caption fun day at the range. The school's zero tolerance policy says that students cannot be in possession of weapons at any time, whether on or off campus.
Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs today demanded in a lawyer letter that the Lacey Township School District immediately rescind disciplinary actions taken against several students for posting social media photos of themselves near firearms at a target range.

“I dont see how that can possibly be legal. Are they going to dictate what church the kid goes to as well?”
Thus confirming what liberalism really is...to control.
There is only the Church of The State; nothing else matters or is tolerated.
I know. We brought our guns to school and they were in our cars. We had an after school target shooting club 2x week fall and spring with the Vice Principal. (late 70’s - early 80’s, rural Iowa)
The leftist/progressive control freaks at the school need to be asked what other lawful expressions of enumerated Constitutional rights can students be suspended for while out of school and on their time.
We had “wrist rockets” when we kids. Do they even make those anymore? We also had a giant 3 man slingshot made if a tunnel and 2 6foot long pieces of 3/8inch surgical tubing for launching water balloons in the summer and snow balls in the winter.
So schools own children 24/7 now?
Funnel not tunnel
So...the shotgun class I took, where we practiced shooting clays and reloading ammo, as a senior? This school probably wouldn’t offer that class or accept the credit, even as an elective>
This would get me off my keister and send me to the next school board meeting. I would, of course, offer to help organize a campus wide 17-minute “Support the 2nd Amendment” demonstration, with all teachers out with the kids.
“Marxist pigs in the school administration need to be fired.”
A good teacher would know that the word “upon” should be somewhere in that sentence.

I have had those for years. Nice quiet protection against attacking squirrels and stuff.
About 10 years ago I bought some items including a replacement sling for one of those. The ringer went off and the cashier asked for my ID. I says for what????
You have to be at least 18 to buy a slingshot or parts of one apparently. I was about 50 at the time. This was in the Minneapolis area.

*********
CHURCH! You want them to attend church? That carries a punishment of expulsion and 500 hours of remedial education working as a volunteer at Planned Parenthood.
Its Lacey Township, NJ not Lacy. I know because I live here. Located in Ocean County, NJ. I have a daughter in the high school. School Boatd meeting is Monday and it will be packed with parents.
Give it time m'lady. Give it time.
Next, the definition of "any time" to expand to include the future.
Well, they think they own those kids now a days don't you know... People are sending their kids to school at a ridiculously young age... They hardly know their parents, and the teachers do the best job they can at driving a wedge between them... The teachers teach them all their liberal mush and when they get finished with'um you have a fine bunch of little commies..!!
Unbelievable. Then my kid is an all-out felon since we have pics and video of him shooting some full-autos at a range in SC.
Outside of my job there are so few reasons to stay in NJ anymore..
The zero tolerance policy is unconstitutional in its massive overreach.
