..."The brilliance of the marketing for 'Love, Simon' lies in its honesty and in not shying away from the fact that the film is a gay teen romantic comedy," said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst for online measurement company ComScore. "While many films that have gay themes or a LGBTQ subtext often hide those elements in order to obscure the true message of the movie in order to make the film more 'commercial' or 'mainstream,' this film is rightly and innovatively celebrating and embracing its themes and point of view."

My favorite,by far,was Mr Mash, followed by Miss Brahams (particularly in the earlier episodes) and Mr Granger. A few months back I bought the DVD set for the series, and my wife and I watch one every week or so. My favorite is Mr. Lucas, but Mr Humphries is often entertaining.
Mr Mash is also funny, though he doesn't get as much screen time as the rest.

“I had a friend and classmate in college who was a gay teen. nice guy, super smart, but very troubled.”
I had a similar story. I worked with a Guy that was part of the San Fransisco Gay scene. The depravity he saw destroyed him. He would say ‘You don’t understand how awful it is”.

I have absolutely no interest in this film and don't see it having much of an audience outside the gay community. Haven't seen Brokeback Mountain either!!!

“Soap” was hilarious! It didn’t focus on Billy Crystal being queer; he was just one of the many funny characters.

If only SOAP had been allowed an ending of some kind, it would have been the perfect sitcom.

yep. opens this weekend.
I think I’ll go see “I Can Only Imagine”, which is apparently the true story behind Bart Millard who wrote the popular Christian song.
Dennis Quaid and Cloris Leachman are the “big” Hollywood stars in this Christian film.

They already had one nomination this year about an adult male romancing a teen boy. The big news was they had to digitally remove the teen’s nutsack in scenes where he’s in short shorts.
Studios know what gay audiences want to see.

It couldn’t be made now.
Antenna TV runs it in the evenings. It’s nice to see on the air.
It’s hard to pick a favorite character among them. SOAP had a great cast.

Sickening that when watching TV, my children get exposed to the trailer for this crap.

Fox has a show “Lucifer” that must be trying to mainstream Satan.
