On CNN today, Maggie Haberman of the New York Times argued that women in the Trump administration, particularly Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Kellyanne Conway, are unfairly subjected to more criticism than their male counterparts.
Alisyn Camerota seconded Habermans notion. Chris Cuomo initially pushed back a bit, but ultimately joined the party, saying:
The lookism stuff. Saturday Night Live, when they first went after Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and it was about how she looked and how she dresses. It was obnoxious. And that happens to Kellyanne all the time when she goes on. Thats wrong too. No question about it.

Did SNL ever treat the ladies of the Obama admin this way?
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
I would totally go bowling with Sara or beat the crap out of some Antifas with her.
SNL has been dead to me for quite a while now. I don’t care what they do. I’m perturbed that I’m even chiming in on this thread :)
This is the comedy of todays generation. Just put on Comedy Channel and especially the Daily Show. Utterly classless, juvenile and pathetic.
Meanwhile, Kate McKinnon’s “Hillary” consisted merely of her (a young woman) wearing a blonde wig. No wrinkles, cankles or thunderthighs. Just the wig.
gerald ford was ridiculed by chevy chase falling every time he played the president, but the woman that parodies hilary hasn’t fallen once or has been loaded like cord wood into a van.
Good point. And Ford, of course, was, in fact, a gifted athlete and star football player.
Were I forced to watch those idiots at SNL, I would throw something through my tv screen.
Wasn’t there a spoof of “Fatal Attraction”, with an SNL Kellyanne playing the Glenn Close role and an SNL Jake Tapper in the Michael Douglas role? Would not hold my breath for them to do a Democrat version of such a sketch.
I actually accidentally caught a minute of SNL last weekend.
They were making fun of Sean Hannity. They had his picture up.
Look at his head, he looks like a pencil eraser. Look how his hair is greased. He greases his hair so it is easier to slide his head up Trumps _____
Funny?? Maybe if your are three years old.
Back in the 70’s they actually had some funny, talented people.
Now bashing on Republicans is what they call funny.
SNL actually does a very good job of representing mainstream liberals.
They are pathetic, nasty, without talent full of deranged hate.
They would have all of us on cattle cars in a heartbeat if they could.
Kurt Schlichter says they want to kill us. Of that I have no doubt.
Pure alinsky. Ridicule is a weapon and there’s no defense against it.
No. And that Jarrett woman looked like a victim of a childhood fire.
What they hate about Sarah is that she is amazingly tough, no nonsense and articulate. She’s brilliant, in fact. SNL started this awful stuff with poor Linda Tripp.
That’s right. And the actress didn’t even go for an imitation of her horrible voice and flat midwestern accent or ugly wardrobe.
Saturday Night Leftism
Her Hillary impression was always really lame - she never made any effort to get the voice right at all, just throw on a pantsuit and wig. And people act like she’s really talented to do that.
And then she did that depressed, piano-playing shtick after Hillary lost.
I think I watched last saturdays SNL. I dont remember anything about Sean Hannity. What skit? I actually loved the cold open with Robert Mueller on the Bachelor. I didnt even get the various Bachelor references but that skit was hilarious for conservatives.
