Sister of Dylann Roof charged after bringing drugs, weapons to school

The sister of Charleston church shooter Dylann Roof has been charged after deputies say she brought weapons to school on National Walkout Day. On Wednesday, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department said that 18-year-old Morgan Roof was charged with simple possession of marijuana and two counts of carrying a weapon on school grounds. Reportedly, a school resource officer was contacted by a school administrator after marijuana, pepper spray and a knife were found on Roof. There was also a social media post on Snapchat which caused students and staff to be alarmed.

That's fine her getting kicked out over the mj, knife and pepper spray but the text wasn't illegal nor was she threatening anyone. Wonder how they knew these items were on her? A pat down or a metal detector?

I carried a little knife when I was little. I got a Buck knife for my birthday, love that knife...

The headlines are making it like she carried a gun.. How big was the knife? Have we gone UK when it comes to pocket knifes.

Most likely she did not fall far from the apple tree. If your last name is Roof, you might not want to carry anything to school in SC. The sad thing, she is being label by her brother’s action, no chance in life at all (as in picking a better path).
