William D. Campbell fights back against The Hill and Democratic accusations
Informant William D. Campbell was recently interviewed by FBI agents from the Little Rock, Arkansas field office
former FBI informant who spent more than six years undercover gathering information on the Russian energy and uranium market was recently interviewed by FBI agents from the Little Rock, Arkansas field office as part of an ongoing bureau investigation into the Clinton Foundation, according to Victoria Toensing, the attorney representing the informant.
Toensing disclosed the information in a letter asking for a retraction to The Hill’s article published Thursday, which was based solely on a Democrat memorandum attacking the credibility of William Douglas Campbell, the former informant. Democrats stated that Campbell provided no evidence to the congressional committees of “quid pro quo” regarding the Clinton Foundation and the Russians.
Toensing was never contacted prior to publication by The Hill for fair comment in the story. The Hill’s article has now been followed up in The Washington Post, The Washington Examiner, CNN, Reuters, Yahoo, and other numerous outlets, none of which contacted Toensing for fair comment. On Friday, The Hill updated the story, only after receiving a call from Toensing asking for a retraction.

Agreed. Why the heck do they need to tell us who he is. Now his family is in danger.

The take away line was from the *spokesman* for Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Trey Gowdy, who was contacted by the media, saying that he had talked to Republicans and they had no comment on witness Campbell!
Shocking that Gowdy can’t cough up a single splendid zinger to express something about the ongoing burial process of this witness. Congress allowed Campbell to be relegated to sit before only a bunch of staffers, after he begged for an interview more than once.
They sure did not contact Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows, Sara reports.

I say again the outsider FBI guys, outside of DC, and in Arkansas, may be the ones that crack the Swamp bottom wide open. They Arkansas group investigating the Clinton Foundation, finally interviewed Campbell in December.
I’m surprised the FBI decided to interview him before he died of natural causes from old age.
FBI guy was probably warning him about what would happen if he ratted out the criminals.
We all know which side the FBI is on at this point.
I still say nothing will happen Hillary could be video taped shooting Trump and they wouldn’t prosecute her. She’d say he sexually assaulted me and that is where it would end.

Toensing has said her client suffers from some form of cancer. The 8 hours (or so) of testimony before the Congressional committee was physically demanding on him, with the medical treatment his undergoing.
I don’t know if his medical condition is fully known, but he is obviously in failing health.

Campbell has been in the 'news' for months now. It's just that the MSM doesn't usually even mention it, unless it is to try and denigrate Campbell.
