The Family Research Council (FRC) said in a statement Tuesday that the nomination of Mike Pompeo for Secretary of State will enhance the administrations goal of a return to American values and principles and make support for human rights and religious freedom a priority.
President Trump has been an agent of change in Washington, said FRC president Tony Perkins in a press statement. It is hard to identify another federal agency that is in more need of change than the State Department, which has historically and consistently been at cross purposes with American values and principles. Mike Pompeo is a proven leader, and I am very confident that he will be the desperately needed agent of change at State.
In the Christian pro-family groups Washington Update Tuesday, Perkins and his staff noted that, under Rex Tillerson, the harmful cultural imperialism that existed during the Obama administration continued.
FRC observed that the State Department has done little to restore our promotion of international religious freedom to where it should be.
Religious freedom and human rights for all continues to take a backseat to the LGBT agenda as LGBT-promoting acting ambassadors remain in place around the world and our tax dollars still go to non-government organizations (NGOs) aligned with groups like George Soros Open Society and the Southern Poverty Law Center, the group asserts.
In April 2017, Fox News reported that watchdog group Judicial Watch sued the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to obtain its records believed to show nearly $5 million in American taxpayer funds awarded to the Macedonian branch of Soros Open Society Foundations. Both the State Department and USAID failed to respond to a prior records request.

Trump ain’t done Making America Great Again. McMaster and Sessions shouldn’t be sleeping well.
Ministers always became captives of the bureaucracy they head.
In the famous comedy, “Yes, Minister”, the new Cabinet Minister is told by his Department secretary not to expect to push through changes. By the time they happen, he’s gone and the bureaucracy is forever.
Mike Pompeo will need to withstand that if he is to turn the State Department around.
Looks like we gain an outstanding CIA director (Lord knows that place needs a good housecleaning) and keep the outstanding Mike Pompeo so that’s +1. And we lose the globalist Tillerson, which makes it +2. He may have helped with the Saudis and other things but clearly NK is Trump’s deal and Tillerson was working against him on Iran. It all adds up.
I don’t think Tillerson is a globalist. I think from a project standpoint, he did his job in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia) and now his work is done. He really didn’t want to be SoS anyway.
Tillerson is a globalist. He was let go for purposeful action working against the President regarding Iran.
Matthew 24:36
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
His first task should be to immediately start removing all the libtard progressive Obama idiots infesting the State Department.
Please do remember that one of the things Tillerson was getting flack about was not refilling the positions at the State Department on the 7th floor. Even people at embassies were complaining about that.
Pompeo will not have a floor of senior diplomats telling him that this can’t work. He can start with his own promotions of people into those positions.
“...start removing all the libtard progressive Obama idiots infesting the State Department....”
That should have been accomplished in the first WEEK of the Administration.
Everything we are seeing now is the result of letting these leeches stay in place.
Light years better than Tillerson. Thank God.
Will he get Saudi Arabians to stop siring children in America, kidnapping them and bringing them back to Saudi Arabia, and giving their ex-spouses the one-finger salute with the active help of their government in partnership with the US SOS?

Yes
