Kudlow comes across to me as quite politically liberal at times, but could fit in with DJT
and Kudlow is at least fairly knowledgeable about economics
so probably can contribute to the administration

Not in a longshot.
Larry has had his demons, has publicly owned up to them, asked for forgiveness, and has to this date vanquished them. He is a devout Christian, and anti-abortion.
Bringing that stuff up now is bush league. And you know, Larry knew that $hit would come out, and yet he still accepted the position.
How many people do you know that would put themselves through that wringer knowing full well that would happen ?
I certainly do not agree on all of Larry's positions, but neither do I on anyone's.
He's a good man, and has America's best interests at heart.
If he was good enough for Ronald Reagan, he's good enough for me to say give him a chance.
Larry Kudlow kicked his drug problem DECADES ago so i think that was an ugly slam, and he is a pretty well-respected economist. he has political and Wall St connections which makes his input as an advisor valuable. he is against tariffs and for King Dollar - so again Trump has added an opposing voice to his team on some issues. LK is pro-tax cuts, of course and trimming of the regulatory juggernaut. he was part of the Reagan team. no lightweight.
While I agree with what you wrote, what I found credible in the analysis involves the significance of the NEC and its ultimate influence upon PJT’s policies.

He will likely be at odds with Trump's political agenda on some key issues, but his economic fundamentals are very sound.
I have been listening to Kudlow for years. He is solid. Just needs to realize that the free trade philosophy is not a suicide pact.

DIdn’t read the article. Kudlow knows how to MAGA better than nearly anyone else. Nothing else matters in his role. In the Trump presidency this matters a lot since that is all that most voters care about.

Wasn’t Kudlow the director of the OMB for Reagan after his drug problems, which were back in his earlier Wall Street days?

Since Trump has done almost nothing to limit legal immigration, and since Trump publicly supports Amnesty for 1.8 million DACAs, Trump and Kudlow should get along very well.

CNN supports massive legal immigration and DACA Amnesty, too.
I sound like a Conservative who is holding Trump’s feet to the political fire.
Trump made 2015 campaign promises about DACA, about legal immigration, and about H-1B visas.
He needs to keep those promises.
Bottom Line...
I will vote to reelect Trump in 2020, but only because he is the most Conservative candidate who has a chance to win.
