Martha MacCallum just flambayed, seared, frickasseed, barbecued, roasted, broiled, rotisseried, grilled, pan-fried, stewed, braised, and then shoved Michael Isikoff and his sorry wrinkled *ss into a pressure cooker tonight on her show questioning him over his new book, the book written with the perennial slimeball, David Corn.
More later . . plus video.
If anyone finds the video of this 'beatdown' please feel free to post it here. I haven't found it yet.
It was about a fifteen minute slaying.
Isikoff kept throwing his hand out in front of her face and talking over her in a cheap, chauvinistic, aggressive attempt to intimidate her.
It was disgusting as he tried to inform the world that he knew nothing to little about the Clinton connection to the dossier or the Russians.
****
Can that be corrected?
If so, thank you in advance.
Is not the past tense of slay, slew? Do things like that even matter anymore?
Fox News Free here. Dont care. They preach to the choir. Not relevant at all.
___________
We're all thrilled to know what bums you out.
Go play a video game.
I want to see it.
No she didn’t!! He got many more hits in than she did from what I saw!
Im glad you thought so. I was feeling sorry for her, thinking that he was able to take way too much control from her and authoritativly dodged her questions, even advising her to read his book, which really set her off.
He came off like a debate bully, which he probably is. Terrible, jaded man.
Unless and until someone is arrested, tried, convicted, and hanged I quit watching all the sturm and drang on the TV shout-shows. One more “tick-tock” from Hannity won’t change a thing.
I think the fix is in, from our sabotaged vote to the so-called “law.” The US Government and the Courts are thoroughly corrupt. Trump is a momentary common sense blip on the road to tyranny.
Prepare for what’s coming and look to your own.
slayed
1.(chiefly US, uncommon) simple past tense and past participle of slay
__________
Slew is older but slayed has taken over the past decades.
You are right though with your comment.
Personally, I find it sickening that people generally under around 40 years old don't seem to know what the subjunctive voice/mood is anymore (If I were ...........)
___
Anyhow.... back to the essence of the thread, genius.
______
By the way ......... it doesn't matter here tonight on this thread. Isikoff is not a dragon.
He's a drag and a goon.
;-)
______
I want my Maypo.
Why would a staunch progressive like McCallum have anything against this guy?
The same goes for Hannity (the unwatchable interrupter), the pan faced Tucker and the rest of FAUX that thinks it's a good idea to give liberals free air time for spewing their bile.
Lou Dobbs is the only really watchable show on Fox
Let's make a deal. I suppose that after the video is posted here, and dozens of posters have commented on it, we may find out who got the better of the other in the interview ....... Martha or Michael.
Okay?
___
PS -- did you happen to notice how he was repeatedly sticking his paw in her face? Just wondering.
We shut Lou down today. The guy can’t ask a question, and let the guest answer. Always talking over the guests. Irritating, and rude.
I’d prefer using “Has slain” instead of “slew”, because slew sounds like a completely different word. i.e. “Cole-Slew”?
I used to hear or read the phrase ‘has slain’ a lot after the JFK situation.
Turnoff the television, pay off your credit cards and stock up on necessities
“Slayed” and “slew” can be seen as interchangeable, but it is still considered nonstandard for “slayed” to be used as the past tense of “slay” in the sense of killing violently. ... Slain - Again, this word is more commonly used with the formal sense of “slay.”
He came off like a debate bully, which he probably is. Terrible, jaded man.
______________
I hear you. Martha was well prepared and he was angry and overly aggressive because she was so well prepared. He could not take the heat from a strong woman and he lost his composure.
