Should I be surprised that Los Angeles class warships are still in the fleet?
Seems like they’ve been around since the 1970s.

My son is at Navy OCS right now and because he is NUPOC, he ecpects to be on a sub. He is hoping to get on a fast attack sub rather than a boomer. Do we have slow attack subs?

Wonder how many times this happened and was published during President Zero’s reign of terror?

People think the arctic seas ar just relatively flat ice..not true
They get enormous upshifts and crevasses and movements
I watched the documentary of reinhold messner attempting to cross the North Pole from Asia to Canada March 1995
It was his last Uber risk adventure and hes pretty much the Mcdaddy of mountaineering etc
They had to be rescued cut to the danger of huge slabs of ice just pushing up from everywhere like an instantaneous Terrain of Hoodoos out of the frozen ocean leaving them perched on ledges high up or stuck in a deep pool on top of the ice pack
At forty below
He said it was most challenging thing hes ever done....
I think a Russian did it recently

Speaking of ice and ships...
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2708480/
“The Terror” starts up on the 26th of this month.
Two ice-locked British ships, a lot of snow, and a hungry critter that just heard the dinner bell ringing....
