A thread to discuss the results.
I feel like Lamb has a lot of momentum, has run as a moderate, and has run a better campaign. I'll predict he'll win tonight (although I'd like to see Saccone win).
NYT does a good job with election results.

How will they prove it? And why isn’t the GOP going to court immediately to file an injunction on the election because their voters were turned away?
Even if by some miracle the absentee ballots, recount, or something were to switch this to be a GOP win ..... the fact is that the momentum is heavily headed right now towards a huge Dem landslide in Nov2018 where they pick up 40+ seats in the US House, possibly take control of the US Senate, and perform well in governorships (i.e. who will control most of the Census 2020 redistricting) & other State/local races. The Dem’s don’t need any message but “No on Trump” to pull this off if the current momentum continues.
The biggest key to them pulling this off will be if the GOP and Conservatives choose to be in denial on what’s really happening and what the long term consequences shall be. Instead what needs to happen is to focus on what’s needed for the GOP to win.
1. Russia (and other bad actors) are going to try to sway the 2018 election. Their goal will be to get us a divided anti-American government which can be achieved by the Dem’s taking over Congress. So remember “Russia wants the Dems to win Congress to divide America more than ever”.
2. Trump has got to get the GOP united and put an end to the infighting. Sure there have been troublemakers like Flake but he’s got to get them united and be a team.
3. Trump has to get his approval ratings up.
4. The anti-Trump stooges need to be exposed as being anti-American and tools of Putin and other bad actors.
5. Remember that it comes down to the mathematics of turnout and on how all politics is local. Getting out the vote is going to be extremely crucial and important.
6. On getting out the vote its important to remember that this means that the only ballots cast should be limited to just one vote per living citizen who lives in the precinct where they vote and that they are properly authenticated using biometrics such as photo id. Anything less than this standard is fraud.
Has it been determined by now?
Lovely. The Rats at it again.
“...From what I can tell, the guy Saccone is not a bad guy,...”
Maybe not. But he associates himself with that (D) after his name with a party full of psychopaths that hate everyone they can’t control.
Cancels out any good he’s done, to my mind.
There’s no middle ground or fence riding anymore. We’re way beyond it.
Are you serious? Yeah it figures they are actively working against President Trump they want to be in the minority so they can sink him via a den majority.
Saccone is a Republican. Lamb is the Democrat who won last night or unofficially won last night.

Yeah I don’t know the full story behind that mailer but it should NOT have been a republican operation. The democrats are going to take the House and pursue a radical agenda, by running supposed “conservatives” in swing districts.
The GOP better wise up and tell voters the democrats are practically communists and unless the entire party renounces its extreme left wing ways, we cannot afford to elect any of them.
Looks like the irregularities pointed out by many on this website last night are still an issue Siccone will be looking into. This race won’t be official for a while. Full count is not even in. And they are looking at impounding machines? Considering that in Algny alone, the absentee votes were way off ration compared to the regular vote, as well as another county, it looks like the rats were stuffing counts and running switch yesterday.
“Matt Gorman, a spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee, said the party is not ruling out the possibility of a recount, and a source familiar with the process told CNN Wednesday morning that the GOP is likely to seek legal action over several areas in this race.
The party is going to request that all ballots and voting machines are impounded so nothing is tampered with to allow for a likely recount, the source said. They allege reports of “miscalibrations” of several voting machines in Allegheny County, including frozen touchscreens where voters intending to cast their ballot for Saccone were only presented with Lamb. The party also accuses the Allegheny County election board of not letting Republican officials into the room where absentee ballots were being counted.”
You have a link to documentation to back that up?
That’s a pretty bold claim to just lay out there.
Yes, thank you; I knew who was who, just didn’t hear who’d won. Last I heard (this morning) it was too close to call.
House Speaker Paul Ryans super PAC released its first television ad Friday, targeting Pennsylvanias March special congressional election.
The $1.5 million ad blitz by the Congressional Leadership Fund dubs Democratic candidate Conor Lamb one of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosis sheep busy promoting her extreme agenda.
His name is Conor Lamb. But in Washington, hed be one of Nancy Pelosis sheep, a narrator in the ad says. Lamb would join the liberal flock and follow Pelosis lead. Voting the straight liberal party line for Pelosis extreme agenda.
This is only the CLFs latest effort to support Republican state Rep. Rick Saccone in the upcoming special election to take place on March 13. Earlier this month, CLF opened two field offices in Pennsylvanias 18th congressional district with 50 full-time doorknockers.
Nancy Pelosi is the most unpopular, most toxic elected official in the country, and Conor Lamb is running to be her rubber stamp in Congress, CLF Executive Director Corry Bliss said. Pennsylvanians deserve a proven conservative leader like Rick Saccone, who will stand up for Pennsylvania families and their values.
Republican super PAC warns Democratic voters that their candidate supports gun rights.
Conor Lamb, the Democratic nominee in a March 13 special congressional election in southwest Pennsylvania, has deviated from his partys positions on guns and a Republican super PAC wants Democratic voters to know about it.
An ad arriving by mail offers a backhanded thank you to Lamb from Congressional Leadership Fund, a super PAC aligned with House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) that has spent millions of dollars on the race.
Last thing, if story is true they were sent to Allegheny County.
I heard that on the radio today. Weasel Ryan has to be removed from office.
Saccone is the “R” guy...and I think overall he is okay.
The other guy (Lamb) has the “D”, and he does come across as a greasy “say one thing, do another” Leftist.
