Dude really needs to work on his fistwork. Is that a fist in the air in protest?

Looks more like a fist ready to perform a free handy.

I have plenty of melatonin he can have if he’s really having that much trouble sleeping.

“..claiming it’s to protect the “physical and emotional safety of our customers and ourselves.””

Yeah, the pimps and drug dealers who are their customers. In that neighborhood they are a large part of their customer base.

They could post a sign in the window...

Police will not be served on these premises.

followed by a sign that says:

We are a gun free zone, no firearms allowed on premises.

I think that should clear up any misconceptions for anybody that wishes this establishment harm.

tick...tick...tick...

It’ll begin to hit them in the pocketbook. Then their story will change. They’ll relent!

I think 50 cops should get in line and keep a loop going for 3 hours.

The solution is simple. Next time the coffee shop calls the police because someone is holding them up, just tell them that you think a police presence might traumatize some of the patrons.

And if a policeman will not leave, then how can they logically call the police to make him do so?

Given the blight of the surrounding neighborhoods, you would expect the merchants to be on the side of those assigned to protect their property and livelihoods.

Not to introduce logic into any of this.

I’m confident that there has to be a city ordinance against logic.
