The New York Times reports that Christopher Liddell, former Microsoft and General Motors executive, and current White House official, is being considered to take over as President Trump's top economic adviser, following Gary Cohn's resignation.
About Liddell: Per the Times, he "has worked closely with Jared Kushner," and has "the sort of experience" Trump is looking for, as having been the CFO for both Microsoft and General Motors. He helped GM bounce back after going bankrupt, the Times reports, and executed "the company's return to the public market."

After last week and hearing their e globalist chicken little song, I want someone out of the loop, if he’s got it in him @ 85, I’d say Bob Lutz....
From listening to Kudlow’s radio show, both he and Moore oppose President Trump’s trade tariffs just as Gary Cohn does.
Larry Kudlow or Stephen Moore would be Never Trump if they had a choice.
Steve Forbes?
Good idea.
Heres a recap of good, viable alternatives: https://www.forbes.com/sites/ralphbenko/2018/03/09/exit-gary-cohn-enter-lewis-lehrman-steve-forbes-or-larry-kudlow/#3e51f1873d5f
Main concern is getting another progressive and Javanka pal in this role.
“He helped GM bounce back after going bankrupt, ... “
I could have done that with the government bailout.
• Microsoft = H-1B abuser, big time. Microsoft ought to move its headquarters to India.
• General Motors = Government Motors. Bailout central.
President Trump, you can do better …
How do you know this is a Jared/Ivanka “buddy”?
The first three words and I stopped right there. Combine that with Trump this morning calling out Haberman for Fake News about the Clinton impeachment attorney being considered.
Just quit commenting on any news story coming from the NYT as if is has any credibility. Cohn served his purpose and then on the way out tried to make himself the story. He knew what the trade issues were and was not involved in them. Like I said, his work was done for the Tax Cuts for small business and the middle class. Trump is now moving on the the next target.
Consider the source.
Why not wait and see?
Every buddy complained about Cohn because he was Goldman Sachs
Trump has proven to make his own decisions. Quit acting like a child.
By the way Axios is notoriously wrong
Too bad. Decision already made.
Apparently they dont remember Reagan
They read it on the inter webs. /s
Trump should find out who Jared and Ivanka hate then check those people out ,LOL
