At this point, if video came out of the cops using students as human shields and then running off to write parking tickets on responding parents, I wouldn’t be surprised. Here’s a basic concept for Union Deputy Bell: Making your own action depend on an action by someone who doesn’t want you to act, lets them control the situation. Bell’s position gives the Sheriff an additional incentive NOT to release all the information.

Does the union really want him to release all info? I doubt it, since full info will show union participation in the Dream Scheme that left Cruz armed and on the loose, as well as explain all those calls where nothing was done.

Much more fun to pretend that the Union would do something, if only the Sheriff would let them. Sort of like the classic coward routine of having friends hold you back from fighting (maybe that analogy hits close to home in Broward...).
