Obama is at it again.
Concerned about his crumbling legacy and unable to bear life out of the spotlight, the former president is in talks with Netflix "to produce a series of high-profile shows that will provide him a global platform after his departure from the White House," as the New York Times, which got the scoop, put it.
Let that sink in. The man is seeking to rewrite history, his own history, the better to influence the public to think he wasn't such a bad president after all, through a television series about himself where he controls all the content. It shows how reluctant he is to let go of the reins of power and act the graceful role of retired president.

It absolutely baffles me why this guy and Hitlery get their arses kissed so much. Is it JUST because they are Democrats? I really don’t understand that because if a Republican is an asshole, then I got no problem calling them out on it, and my God, there is a LOT of them. McCain, McConnell, Ryan, Romney on and on, but Democrap voters for some reason can’t do that. All you got to be is a Democrap and you can do no wrong, you are perfect in every way, you are God like.
Here’s the weird thing. Republicans constantly appear all over the place to talk or debate issues. On the other hand, people like Hillary and Obama never ever go beyond a very safe and protected cocoon where they will ever be challenged.
When has anyone ever seen Obama go before any audience that was anything less than completely submissive and fawning? When has Hillary ever gone beyond a media safe zone?
So again we see Obama stage manage everything with absolutely no introduction whatsoever of anything that would challenge his myopic world view.
Just consider how Republicans have debate moderators made up of partisan Democrats, but just mention that FOX or any Conservative pundit is going to host an event and the caterwauling is as if they were stuck like a pig.
In any case, I predict a lot of the usual fawning press about Obama’s self indulgent project along with many accolades and probably some leftwing awards, but in the end the reality will be unchanged - no one will ever really watch.
I have recently been considering whether or not I should subscribe to Netflix. Now my decision has been made for me.
