An Ohio professor is reportedly under investigation for making a Facebook post calling for anti-gun activists to "storm the NRA headquarters" and "make sure there are no survivors."
James Pearce, an adjunct professor at Southern State Community College in Hillsboro, wrote the post on June 13, the day after the terrorist mass shooting attack in Orlando.

I’m guessing that bodes ill for his future there. Adjuncts are easily replaceable in most areas.

So, if someone sent him a message that he was going to shoot this guy and his family, he would be OK if the next day or so, the 'shooter' told him it was a joke?

If I were an adjunct professor at Southern State Community College, I think I’d just keep my mouth shut and ponder just how things went so wrong.
All of them.
That is to say, just about everyone in academia anymore is nuts. Sane people have been driven out, save for a few pockets

He does not appear to have had anything more than teaching positions at 2 year colleges. It looks like the job at Illinois Central College may have been a full time position.
His resume is not unusual for a philosophy teacher.

The thing that he thinks will make it different in this case is that it will be the good people killing the bad people, for the common good don't you know.
So he thinks.
Still with that thinking notwithstanding, I don't think this guy has thought his position through very well, if you know what I mean.
Oh, but he didn’t REALLY mean to “storm” NRA Hdqtrs and “leave no survivors”, just a figure of speech. He was taken out of context. This isn’t who he is...
