What do you mean by ‘closed the case’? Are you saying the FBI would likely have RESOLVED the case within 10 minutes, or would simply have ‘recorded and filed’ the case?

I don’t think it’s anything new. People known to the public have always received death threats. The media only reports it when it fits their agenda.
