They are all dead to rights on the basic facts, so they have to portray themselves as persecuted political enemies. By actively criticizing Trump, they can claim any reciprocal action is merely retaliation.
BOOM number 2 maybe.
That’s how ANY country that wants to remain a country MUST do it.
If these people don’t go to jail then America as we knew it is over and we’re just waiting for the corpse to decompose.
Yep. We want it done right. Not to be undone quickly.
While I’m as impatient as anybody, I know it can’t happen quickly or overnight . . . or even in the first year.
You nailed it.
Of course, it also tells those of us who know the game that they are indeed guilty as sin because these kinds of pre-emptive defense actions are not taken by innocent parties.
Media will not report this, or if they did then they say this is Trump avoiding the bigger problem of him working with Russia crap
It's wintertime. Eric is skating.
DC has to go.
The only variable is who gets the job.
He should have been jailed long ago, and his house searched. Agreement? He should have gotten a reduced sentence for turning over the documents immediately, and that’s it.
Here’s the problem with that theory: Zero arrested. Zero charged with any crime.
The problem with the waiting long periods of time is called the “statute of limitations”. Which means that a lack of arrests is completely indistinguishable from deliberately running out the clock.
How long must this remain the case before you concede that there will be no action taken? 2 years? 3? 4? Will you be, in 2020, telling people to vote for Trump in the hope that in his second term he might enforce the law?
Take a step back and have a good long look at the amazingly low standard that you’re applying to Sessions, the Attorney General of the United States who has recused himself from the absolute top priority of the office, which is to bring the people who attempted to overthrow the government to justice.
Not that I necessarily disagree with your assertion, but is it really the top priority of the Trump administration? What about these other hot button issues:
- Contesting Russia for control of MENA oil & gas resources via the Syria proxy war
- Contesting China for control of eastern Asia via the N Korea proxy (cold) war
- Contesting California for control of western N America via the Mexican reconquista proxy war
- Contesting communists, subversives and other domestic enemies for control of the USA itself via mass media censorship and the 2A proxy war
Is prosecuting the deep state an important element of any of the above? Or, are they actually linked? That is, you take out the 0 team, and everything falls into place?
I’m thinking the timing for political purposes is about perfect.
Yeah, pretty much everything has to take a back seat to dealing with people who actually tried to overthrow the government (and have not stopped trying!).
Because none of those other things would matter if that happens, now would they? There would be no United States to keep intact, no United States to contend for anything.
Of what value would control over MENA oil be, if you were ruled here at home by an autocratic tyranny? None of the benefits would inure to you.
Super top secret memo to be released: “We have determined that the Russians, probably at the request of the Trump family, were responsible for the Fast and Furious debacle”.
You are correct but the lesser included offenses may be bye bye.
It is remarkable how stupid some people are.
Drip, drip, drip is what it takes to erode this gigantic conspiracy.
It is very tiresome to read here these idiots acting as though they know what is going on and what is involved.
While it's important to punish the conspirators under laws governing treason & espionage, the threat level presented by the deep state is perhaps now super-ceded by other global concerns.
Still, we're all on the same page. We all want the same things - we're just bouncing around ideas pertaining to priorities.
That's not a problem with the charge of treason. There is no statute of limitation.
How droll and misleading.
