There’s one major difference. Trump was not in office at the time of this situation and the courts have generally ruled that anything a president does before election is not going to be adjudicated while he’s president. The Paula Jones case was spurred by Clinton’s denials of past affairs which led to Monica Lewinski which happened while he was in office.

Trump’s issue is entirely as a private citizen. She can have her day in court but not until *after* he leaves office.

Clinton was not president when he exposed himself to Paula Jones. Granted, he WAS governor and she was a state employee if I am not mistaken, but he wasn’t president yet.
