Y’all did start out slow with the snow this winter.
It started out slow with precip here, too, and now it looks like we’ve both caught up the past few weeks. LOL
Glad the guys showed up to haul off a bunch of your snow so there’s room for more to be piled up. It sounds like you’ll need it.
Yes, it’s not going to be fun dealing with the drop in temps this week but it won’t be the last time. It can be a wild roller coaster ride this time of year. Just hope it doesn’t last too long and that Spring will settle in soon.
We’ve had snow in the middle of April and that REALLY stunk!
Dang, it’s dry there!! TOO dry!
It sure is too dry. I get nervous when the wind blows with the humidity that low. It’s just asking for a fire to break out simply from a spark or a cinder.
Sounds like you are reconciled to the fact that cold weather will be there off and on. But I’ll bet you fuss and scare the kittehs. LOL! I sure would. I hope this roller coaster stops soon. I think we both like a bit of consistency huh!
With the tiny amount of rain y’all have had lately, wildfires certainly are a concern. Won’ take much to start one. :-(
Yes, no choice but to reconcile to the cold, warm, cold, warm. Happens every year. Some years are worse than others.
The year it snowed in mid-April, fruit trees were in bloom, the pecan trees were loaded with tassels as were other trees, and it got cold for a few days. Killed off all the blooms and tassels and it was slim pickings for the wildlife that eat fruit, berries, and nuts that year. Killed and weakened a few trees that had leaves coming out too.
Just the way it goes sometimes.
((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. Thanks for this morning's thread, Lauren. How's it going?
These guys are south of me.......

Exploring...bet he loves that!
WOW!! How cool! Look at all those eagles in that tree!
We have some that fly over the farm occasionally but they never land in our trees.
Fortunately, I had emptied the shed of all contents last fall, except for 2 boxes of glass jars, and 6 wood chairs in process of being redone. Not a jar was broken, and the chairs were as they were before, however, turned over....those items still remained on the floor, that was screwed to the foundation. The walls, roof, etc were all over back yard.
Still looking for the smaller connecting pieces of the shed, they may be anywhere, in the fields/woods, etc.
That was one really crazy wind storm. Mail that had been in mailbox was on the other side of the road. Had to walk the road, and pick up stuff out of ditches/etc. :)
Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our

Just dropping in to say hello and to see if everyone
in the path of the storms is okay.
Gonna post and run.
Please stay.
Grab a cup of joe or tasty tea.
Chat with the military and/or the family they left behind.
The FR Canteen is
Come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation,
silliness,
and plain old BS
