Less than a month after a school shooting that killed 17 people, several celebrities are reportedly planning to use the Oscars as a platform to raise awareness for gun control.
People magazine reports that a group of A-listers will don orange pins from Everytown for Gun Safety, a nonprofit organization that advocates for gun control and works to reduce gun violence.
Orange is the unofficial color that has come to be associated with various gun-control causes. Everytown sells orange American flag pins on its website, but it's not immediately clear if those are the exact pins that will be worn during the demonstration.

Who will be watching?
Who will be watching?
Maybe brown on their nose?
Roger Ebert wrote a movie scene where a drugged women fellated a gun and then opened her eyes to the reality of the situation and the trigger was pulled (with blood gushing out of her nose). 20th Century Fox’s Beyond the Valley Of The Dolls.
The liberal elite’s love of gun violence play goes back a long ways.
LOL!
They could wear little burning Constitution pins.
Oh, you've seen Lena Dunham's attire for the night?
Haven’t watched since the 60s won’t miss the pukes.
Let’s see if Oscar attendees think that they should do their show in a gun free zone for starters. No guards, no concealed carry.
Someone should wear a “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED” sash.
When they ban guns in movies, movies that are teaching our kids killing is “normal” behavior, THEN I will take notice. Until that time anyine wearing an orange star for gun control at the Oscars is pointing out he or she is a HYPOCRITE.
>>Whens the last time you saw a movie theater keep kids out of an R rated movie?
Who even GOES to a movie theater anymore?
They download, stream, buy, or rent movies these days. Think a Best Buy clerk is going to turn away a teenaged customer buying The Godfather or Goodfellas? “It’s a GIFT for someone!”.
The youths of the 80s saw every major (and minor) R rated film of the day on cable broadcast (which at one time restricted such movies to 8pm or later).
Those were AWB-compliant "thumbhole" stocks.
Remember those monstrosities that liberals foisted upon us for a few years after their '94 ban?
Yep. I had one just like it back then. It's long gone now. It tossed that ugly abomination and attached a proper pistol grip and normal stock that I picked up at a gun show, unaware that in doing so I was committing a significant crime. Turned it in to a great little rifle though.
+1
James Woods will not be invited.
Just another reason why I haven’t been to a movie theater since the 20th Century.
Ha! Few will watch and those who do are already foam-at-the-mouth gun control freaks.
Yes...they should follow Walmart's lead. That's the new "trend" and they like trends.
is this like that stupid safety pin campaign?
