Corporate America is taking the lead on gun control as Congress slides back into gridlock on the issue.
Several major retailers have decided to impose new restrictions on firearm sales, while scores of companies have moved to cut ties with the National Rifle Association (NRA).
“This is the biggest signal to me that on this issue, there has been a tipping point,” said Rich Masters, head of North America crisis and issues management for Qorvis. “Companies don’t do this unless they know they are gonna be on fairly safe ground.”

American corporations who throw their weight behind gun control reveal themselves to be greedy traitors to the United States of America.
Why yes, my crony capitalist partners supported my gun control, why do you ask?
They only 'hate' corporations when they're preaching their BS to Millennial and other gullible groups. The fact of the matter is that starting with the Clinton Administration the democrat global fascists have gone all out to take over nearly all the boards of directors and corporate leadership positions in large companies.
The democrat party is now, and since at least the early twentieth century has been, a fascist party. That is, they believe that government and corporations should act of one accord under the control of the same people, guiding the future of the world through eugenics and dictating to the serfs not only what to buy, but also what is or is not moral, where to live, and so on.
Looking at the US today it's clear that long term planning backed up by dedicated people following through on that plan with a single, clear, goal is what works to change the entire character of a nation.
So far, I don't see the so-called 'conservatives' in this country as being willing to unite and put the same sort of long term effort into taking the country back that the fascists have put turning the US into just another turdworld chithole under their thumb.
In fact, I can't even find anything much that "Conservatives" have conserved, especially the corporate structures so many dense conservatives still believe are guided by some "invisible hand" they worship and call, "The Market".
In a fascist state, which we have near totally become, nothing like "The Market" exists. It's been replaced, the role it played usurped by the fascist oligarchs running the government who tailor their policies to aid their chosen winners and punish their chosen losers the same way those chosen winners tailor their policies to aid the government.
