The age isn't the problem. Parkland, Las Vegas... It's a mentality issue. The kid had certainly showed all the indications that would help folks stop him. No one did.
Look how many guns are sold to the 18-21 crowd, and how few problems there are.
This is another pointless idiot stick idea...

Purchase age for smoking (in most states) and the drinking age is 21. Young adults these days are a lot more immature than in the past. I am not too upset about that being the limit to buy guns. The line has to be drawn somewhere.
Yes, I was a young marine who couldn’t purchase a drink in California, so aware of the old enough to die for your country argument. I also did a lot of crazy stuff at that age.

No one here will abide by a law requiring age 21 for rifles.
They can take that to the cleaners and wish on a falling star.

Trump didn't blast anyone. The comment was a casual aside in the midst of a two way conversation. Toomey had ample time to make his case and the discussion moved on uninterrupted.

Great, let’s also raise the age for voting, for joining the military and for registering for Selective Service.
The culture has been long been pushing off adulthood as long as possible.
Except when it comes to deciding on self-mutilation (so-called “gender reassignment”), baby killing (parental consent to girls obtaining abortions) and gay sex (longstanding Lefty push to lower the ‘age of consent’)

So who is Trump afraid off? Liberal gun grabbers who would never vote for him anyway?

Mr. President, we don't trust the gumment to decide when we may, or may not, have guns. One only need follow events to understand why.
We've followed the Parkland fiasco. To call the performance of ALL those trusted with our safekeeping there as Keystone Kops...unfairly maligns the Kops and the amount of skill and preparation invested in THEIR performances.
We're not going to dumb down the law, and shrink our rights, to make the job of law enforcement simple enough for idiots. NOT.

Hes gone mad. Alas. If we wanted bs or threats against our constitutional rights we could have elected HilLIARy. We need to find a good honest reliable conservative non-GOP-e candidate asap for the next election

We are being “rope-a-doped” by the left masterfully. 2A is the key to the left’s wet dream of further control of the Republic.

More much ado about nothing related yelling and shouting here. Basically proof that this site seems not particularly well policed in terms of keeping Alinskyesque trolls from coming here and playing pearl clutchers.

Moving to 21 is stupid. 18 year olds have every right and responsibility to protect themselves and their families.

How come we are depending on kids for wisdom on gun ownership laws while demanding that the age for purchasing a gun needs to be raised to 21 because they are not mature enough to be responsible gun owners. They are old enough to go to war. Wont they be exposed to evil assault rifles in the military?

"I think you're afraid of the NRA," Get your head out of your ass, Donald! The NRA is We the People and you damn well BETTER be "afraid" of us. You work for us. We put you in office, and we can replace you with someone else. Don't for an instant think you're immune to electoral challenge.

Uh-oh....the "principled conservatives" gonna give the whole Congress and the WH back to the Dems just to make a point.....
Anyone know if the NRA has been threatening to be a club poised at his head? Their spokesmouth says lots of what I like to hear but seemed a bit ego-driven and prone to talk down at folks....
