Democrat Phil Spagnuolo won a special election in New Hampshire's Belknap County District 3 on Tuesday night 968-841 (54%-46%). It is the 38th state legislative flip from Democrat to Republican since President Trump's inauguration. The contest for this state House race pitted Spagnuolo, a substance abuse recovery coach, against Republican Les Cartier, a former employee at the state fire marshal's office. The seat was left open after the death of Republican State Rep. Donald Flanders last September. Donald Trump won the district by a sizable 54-41 margin in 2016, four years after Barack Obama carried it by just one point, 50-49.

We have to face the fact that the hatred toward Trump being spewed by the media has energized the Dems more than we are energized. We have to work hard to get people to the voting booth in the midterms or we’ll be screwed big time.
Robert Goforth (R) has won the KY #HD89 special election by 67-33 (+34%). Trump won the seat by 79-17 (+62%). More details here: https://t.co/OTfmazlJD6

There are 1000s and 1000s of statehouse seats. The changes are a literal blip. The opposition is going all in to win these few seats. Its no sign one way or the other. Virginias elections are the only ones that make me wonder.
For now, NH has a Repub Governor, House, and Senate.
But I believe this will be the last time I see that in my lifetime.
My state is being saturated with libs from Mass and other New England states.
It will soon be like Mass and Connecticut.
President Trump’s newly-appointed 2020 reelection campaign guru had better get busy on social media, data-mining and targeting GOP voters to show up in November and stem this ominous tide!!!
Just caught Ronna McDaniel on with Lou Dobbs and she seemed rather blase about motivating our base to get to the polls.
Had thought it would be a good idea to bring Reince Priebus back but have since learned that he likely was the source of constant leaks out of the White House. That exposed his disloyalty to President Trump.
Praying Texas and Arizona races offer some hope, as well as the critical showdown in Southwestern PA in two weeks.
Bad news....very republican county & city.
2018 midterms are going to be a blood bath for the Republicans. Brace yourself for Speaker Pelosi II and Majority Leader Scheumer....and Trump impeachment.
Guess the conservatives decided not to ever vote again. Dems smell the blood in the water and have and outstanding way of getting these turds to the polls. I’m afraid we willcsee a huge turnout for November and diwn goes the majority for the next couple years at least.
Re 38 flipped: And how many have flipped to Republican? There were over 1000 that flipped Democrat to Republican during the Obama years.
Good grief. Its the same every week we lose seats. I remember being pretty excited when we flipped obama seats. Seems most here did as well. Sadly it doesnt matter if we lose seats. I cant believe it!!!!
Seems a lot of folks don’t care much for the tax cuts! At least they’re voting like it! Idjiots!
BTW this is the second NH House seat in Laconia that has flipped in a special election in the last several months. Was 6-0 GOP seats now it’s 4-2.
NH is now solidly Rat.And in November elections there’s same day registration...passed by the Rats as a recipe for busloads of drunks and schizophrenics from Massachusetts to claim to have just moved up.
We have had 1 flip since November 2016. Pretty crappy. Pennsylvania now worries me. Latest change went from lean republican to toss up.
Election fraud, one seat at a time.
I wonder what percentage of these seats that have flipped to Democrats in the last year were held by Democrats in 2009.
Wow, that is seriously low turnout.
We really need to throw everything at a grassroots level into PA-18. We can’t let them crow about that for months.
That’s some good news. Thanks.
I keep reading the DNC is BROKE and the GOP is FAR out-fundraising them. I hope that money is correctly deployed to elect good conservatives, but I think they’ll freeze them out and direct the money to more RINOs.
