Comparisons between Ivanka Trump, Kim Jong Un’s sister are sickening – Media can’t decide which way to lean
Ivanka Trump is in South Korea for the closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympic Games and, inevitably, she is being compared to North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un’s sister, Kim Yo Jong, who attended the opening ceremonies.
The disgusting fawning over Kim Yo Jong at the start of the Olympics exposed a truth about much of America’s mainstream media: any enemy of President Trump will be showered in praise.
It didn’t matter than Kim Jong Un is a brutal despot who is starving his own people, allows no freedom, and imprisons or kills his opponents. A documentary called "Secret State of North Korea” – made in 2014 using video smuggled out of North Korea – showed people in the countryside eating grass. What mattered was the opportunity to show up Donald Trump.
Writing in the New York Post at the start of the Olympics about the fawning coverage given Kim Yo Jong, Bethany Mandel, who frequently fundraises to rescue North Korean refugees hiding in China noted that it was “strange reading a red carpet-like report about a member of a regime that has concentration camps the size of Los Angeles, where children have been secretly photographed starving in the streets and whose leader uses anti-aircraft weaponry to execute his political enemies.”
Kim Yo Jong isn’t to be celebrated, nor compared to a free woman like Ivanka Trump, who represents a country of free people. Kim Yo Jong should be confronted about her brother’s atrocities at every opportunity.

I agree the entire US media is COMPLETELY biased.
Breathtakingly so. Even Fox News, and Rush Limbaugh, sometimes act irresponsibly, though they are far and away the best sources.

It is most likely that giving it to them is in violation of sanctions imposed on NK. NK team got pissed. The result is that SK and NK teams marched in under their own flag instead of using the flag with Korean Peninsula logo which was used by the joint team at the opening ceremony.
Difference between South an North Korea.
South - people eat things that bark as a delicacy.
North - people eat tree bark out of necessity.
She ‘serves’ her brother and doesn't carry much if any of the decisions in the positions she holds.....like everything else in N.Korea it's all staged and show.
As were the 200 plus cheerleaders (Comfort Woman)at the Olympic Stadium. We saw any of Fat Boys Harem on display. It's well known and has been for years these gals are groomed to meet the physical needs of the "dear Leaders' and their cohorts......parents even 'offer' their daughters for that purpose as often it's considered an honor.
I agree that she probably cannot make decision on her own. It is possible, though, that her behaviors were scripted in advance by N. Korean officials in charge of S. Korean operations. They always show the attitude that they call the shots, and SK is subservient.
She can control access to her brother and veto anybody. In that sense, she has power but if her brother is gone, she will disappear in a blink.
Oh no doubt her behavior was pre-planned, but I think she liked doing so just the same.
As for her pregnancy....it’s also possible that information was shared with S Korea Pres. to assure her safety while there and she may have disguised herself to look pregnant. I put nothing past N.Korea including a fake pregnancy.
Her position was only elevated last October 2017 I understand....but if anything like Fat Boys rise at first, this might have been done just in case Fat Boy got taken out as there was much talk of that possibility then.
Kim Pig has few people to trust. She is probably one of a few(or the only one) he can trust unconditionally. So she is given an authority far exceeding her experience.
It would look like she was overweight like her brother if she were trying to conceal an 8 month pregnancy. People would call her The Pig II. That would be a bad image for the regime. While the pigs eat, their people starve.
