MILWAUKEE — A man fought back and shot another man who was trying to rob him early Monday in the parking lot of Milwaukee MachineTool Corporation in the city's northwest side Silverswan neighborhood, police said. In a statement, Milwaukee police said a 21-year-old man died outside the business near North 91st Street and West Flagg Avenue shortly before 6 a.m.
The shooter, described only as a 24-year-old man, remained on the property cooperated with police, the statement said. A person who talked to staff inside the company told WISN 12 NEWS that the shooter is an employee who had just arrived at work when he was approached by his attacker. The employee had a concealed carry permit, the source said. A Medical Examiner scheduled a Tuesday autopsy for the man who died. Police said the shooter and the victim didn't know each other.
It happened at a machine tool company, but what was the “side business”?

What a very excellent idea. I wonder what his parents would say if they were willing to relay the message. And while somebody is at that why not tell David storks bring babies.
the good news is that many people read Free Republic so will know, once more, that good guys wiu if they are prepared...at least mostly.
I grew up in Milwaukeestan. Parts of it are completely unrecognizable, now.
That said, I love a Happy Ending. :)
The perp was 21 years old when he was dispatched to Hades. He had probably spawned 3 or more future felons.
You can expect future articles bemoaning the fact that the individual defending his life took away a loving father from these children (and loving mothers).
I don’t think that it would be an exaggeration to say that taxpayers of today and tomorrow have been spared well into seven figures here. Well done.
