The California Democratic Party will not endorse Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s re-election bid this year, with delegates at the party’s annual convention giving the majority of votes to her top primary challenger, progressive State Sen. Kevin de Leon.
De Leon got 54 percent of the vote, compared to 37 percent for the more moderate Feinstein, according to results released Sunday. But neither Democrat will receive the state party endorsement because they failed to reach the 60 percent threshold.
The vote totals were not a surprise, considering the state party’s liberal leaning.
And Feinstein leads de Leon by 29 percentage points in the primary race, according to the most recent RealClearPolitics polls average.

Could also have conservatives just run as Democrats as well. This “jungle primary” would then be turned into essentially a non-partisan ballot. I bet they would move to do away with it if that were to take hold.

I first heard of Kevin de Leon when I saw this video about a decade ago when he was a new CA assemblyman. Shows him ignoring the Star Spangled Banner as it played and then solemnly standing, hand over heart, for the Mexican national anthem.

did Deleon ever get his citizenship or is he still an illegal whose parents stole at least six identities and committed credit fraud while scamming welfare? Mr. college LaRaza has been instrumental in turning California into a place where illegals scam taxpayers out of billions and chase others out of whatever community they decide to take over (seen Compton lately? or San Diego for that matter) and then bleed dry with corruption.

As a Conservative Californian of more than 77 years, I’d personally welcome Federal Troops here. But the other thing you’d have to initiate, is a search for some Republicans that you could use as replacements for the d*ckless lot we have currently. The other thing that needs to be done is to carve CA up into six pieces.
What has always amazed me is how no matter how old they are, how Secular Progressive Jews have this insatiable desire for more and more money. They seemingly can never have enough. Is it the “thrill” of seeing how they can take the government for a ride? I wrote to Fineswine once wondering out loud why she and her third husband (that would be Tricky Dicky Blum) didn’t ride off into the sunset and see if they could spend some of their ill-gotten gain before their “meet up” with Satan. I still don’t have an answer as she didn’t respond.

I’d certainly like to see it. Just having the “d” next to the name would help with the morons that constitute a large majority of our electorate here. They’re easy to fool, so it might just work!

I think Feinstein is under a lot of pressure from the FBI and CIA because she steps out of line from time to time
