The California Democratic Party will not endorse Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s re-election bid this year, with delegates at the party’s annual convention giving the majority of votes to her top primary challenger, progressive State Sen. Kevin de Leon.
De Leon got 54 percent of the vote, compared to 37 percent for the more moderate Feinstein, according to results released Sunday. But neither Democrat will receive the state party endorsement because they failed to reach the 60 percent threshold.
The vote totals were not a surprise, considering the state party’s liberal leaning.
And Feinstein leads de Leon by 29 percentage points in the primary race, according to the most recent RealClearPolitics polls average.

Elected white and black Democrat office holders in California are gonna pay the price for not stopping the flow illegal immigration into their state. Hispanics will not take a back seat politically for those two groups anymore. This is where identify politics comes back to smack these white and black liberals in Cali upside their head. One suspects that sb-54 is the "straw that broke the camel's back" for many (already disgusted) Cali citizens, and the major move-out will be coming in the next couple of years.
Difi might still be elected, but she will be pulled even farther to the lefty-left.

DE Leon is really Leon. He added the De to be more ethnic. He has publicly admitted half his family is her illegally and he helped them come over and say. Also, if you think Feinstein is liberal, this guy is much further left. Also, he is a reconquista warrior wanting a Mexican takeover of California. Our next senator.

The two top vote getters in the open primary go on to the general. So every election for statewide office features rat vs rat. Democrats do not honestly vet their candidates. Somebody in the back office might know all this stuff, but they for sure are not going to let the public know if there is one “smidgen” of negative information.
