As might be expected, the network is doing everything it can to ethnically cleanse white people and men from the cast, but it's a hard proposition, given that in the original series, the story focused on Professor John Robinson, a white man; his white wife, Maureen Robinson; Major Don West, a white man; Will Robinson, a white boy; and Dr. Zachary Smith, a white man.
The show-runners started by replacing Dr. Smith with a woman, Parker Posey. Yes, Dr. Smith is now a girl (in much the same way that Britain's Dr. Who is now Nurse Who).
Then Major West was replaced with a Hispanic character, played by Ignacio Serricchio. Okay, Major West is Spanish now. Maybe he should be called "Major Oeste."
But the most confusing part is that Judy West is now being played by black actress Taylor Russell.

It worked for Ghostbusters. Didn’t it? I know you can go to jail for saying that it sucked.
And no one will watch it
I predict that it will be a huge hit just like Fantastic Four (2015) and Ghostbusters (2016).
Because hollyweird is too Fup to be creative any more

Bring back Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and Billie Piper.

And Robot is going through an identity crisis and can’t decide if he is a he, a she or an it.
Not even little burros (burritos).
Play paint-by-numbers with someone else’s ideas.

Dr. Smith sabotaged the mission (the first episode implied he was a Soviet agent).
He turned into the “Gilligan” character.
Judy and Penny of course were Marianne and Ginger, but younger.
Major West was the skipper to Dr. Smith’s Gilligan.
That would lead Mr./Mrs. Robinson as the Howells, and
Will & Robot as the Professor.
Lost In Space..sounds like what Hollywood is...they are lost in space. What’s next, My Three Sons about two NAMBLA members raising 3 boys...one of whom is transgendered?

Then the opening musical theme will be “Take a Walk on the Wild Side!”
EPISODE 1, ACT 1. SCENE 1
JOHN ROBINSON: Dear, are you certain that you never had an affair with another man?
MAUREEN ROBINSON: Why John Robinson, how could you! I’m shocked you would even think of such a thing!
JOHN ROBINSON: Well, it’s just that I can’t help but notice that our daughter Judy is a negress and we’re both as white as the new driven snow!
Dr. Smith stole every scene he was in and ended up dominating most episodes. The other characters were just supporting characters to him and Will. I watched this show every week as a kid.
With the cast change, who’ll do all the science stuff?
I hated the show as a kid. I wanted real SciFi not a bad cartoon.
The black character, of course.
Now imagine if a remake of the original Star Trek recast Lt. Uhura as a white man?
