The Democratic rebuttal memo to the Republican House Intelligence Committee memo on alleged government surveillance abuses was released Saturday afternoon.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., acknowledged its release at his appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference, at about 4 p.m.
"It's just posted," he told American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp, quipping that the committee website was probably already crashing due to high traffic.
Democrats say their memo was written as a rebuttal to provide greater context to a Republican memo that was released earlier this month, which outlines abuses by the FBI and the Justice Department against the Trump campaign.
Although the Republican-led House Intelligence Committee voted to make the Democrat’s memo public earlier this month, President Trump refused to declassify it, citing "significant concerns for the national security and law enforcement interests."

Isn’t the first bullet misleading (that because the FBI did not receive the Steele dossier until Sept 2016 it did not inform the start of the investigation). I thought Steele met with the FBI in early July 2016, even before they were aware of what Popadopolis had blurbed in a bar months earlier (that Russia may have Crooked’s deleted emails). The Aussie’s didn’t bring it up to the US until Wikileaks started publishing the hacked DNC emails later in July.

If that’s all they got. it’s time for Congress to take the President’s green light in appointing a special prosecutor to bring charges for treason, sedition, and conspiracy.
If the reports are true about Schiff and the Standard Hotel in West Hollywood, the House ethics panel should take charge of having him suspended from Congress while the SP investigates charges.

Too funny. I found the cut, and paste link at yahoo.com earlier this afternoon. I just went back to get the link again, and it was gone. Now only a link to the story about the Democrat memo is there.
My short summary:
There is nothing new in the Schiff memo given as a rationalization for the Carter Page FISA warrant.
All the other info about Page used to justified a FISA warrant was already on the public record.
Like McCabe said: no Steele Dossier, no warrant.
Considering they the FBI was considering payment to Steele, they knew full well some of the information that was going to be disclosed, very disinegenous.
Methinks the DOJ will come out with indictments this coming week on one or all of the FAB Five, Strzok, Page, Priestap, and the Ohrs.

Just opened the Nunes memo ... most of it is a timeline that starts in September 2016. However, the last page supports Schiff. It even ID’s the info used. Papadopolous info triggered opening a counterintelligence investigation, by Strzok, in July 2016.

It seem likely that one of the FACTS is that CNN, et al, is deliberately trying to mislead America with regard to much more than a political issue - it is trying to mislead America with regard to an attempted criminal overthrow of its government.
Unfortunately for our country, roughly the same number that voted for HRC will take CNN at its word or rely on the opinion of like-minded others.
The MSM will not provide equal time to defeat this effort to mislead future elections; it nust be formally resisted in the nation's courts of law or it will simply continue.
