Per an agreement brokered by BHO in 2005, the Broward sheriff, the Courts, the prosecutors, and the schools to keep minority kids from being attested this was the result.
“Children” who were involved in certain behaviors will not be reported to police or arrested.
The infractions and crimes include -ALL STUDENT MISBEHAVIOR and these non-violent infractions:
1. Disrupting or Interfering with class
2. Fighting in a public place
3. Theft if less than $300
4. Vandalism damages < $1,000
5. Disorderly conduct
6. Trespassing, Loitering or Prowling
7. Criminal Mischief
8. Gambling
9. Harrassment or Threats
10. Alcohol -all related offenses
11. Possession of Cannabis
12. Possession of drug Paraphernalia
13. Obstructing Justice without Violence
This is still the policy today.
The Broward shooting has been pinpointed as the catastrophic results of Broward’s 2009 progressive
policy in which Broward County schools and L/E colluded in an insane “agreement.” They agreed to:

<><> they “improved” student behavior statistics –
<><> they artificially reduced the number of reported student crimes, and
<><> they altered the ethnic makeup of student arrests.
The intended result? To pocket more state and federal funding.......a greedy money grab that caused 17 teen deaths.
But wait——it gets even worse.
In 2016, Obama used Broward’s “progressive model agreement” to stop enforcing the law on
school campuses nationwide. Compliance with the Obama guidelines play a role in determining the
level of federal funding directed toward schools and law enforcement.

This happens in other places in Florida. Another graduate of this system is Trayvon Martin, who got his head blown off while trying to murder George Zimmerman.

And some rabble rouser was clutching his pearls and claiming arming teachers would “get children of color killed”. Is he projecting here? Claiming “children of color” are more likely to need shooting, or saying white teachers will be so afraid of the scarey negroes and just shoot at them when they get all uppity? Would no “children of palor” be killed in this insurrection, or do they matter?
Starting to look more like being complicit instead of just criminally inept...
Look at the school and their rules (lack of rules)....would you send your kids to this school district?
Look at the behavior of the police? Could you trust the police to protect you?
All of this leads back to Broward County and it’s authorities. Leadership is lacking. Why would you move there?
The more this Sheriff Israel talks, the more the feeling grows that Broward County Sheriffs are not cops but enforcers of politically correct progressive orthodoxy.
Yep - per Fox the school “allowed security on campus but insisted no drug busts/arrests/etc., happened on campus so as to not besmirch the reputation of the campus” - how......Democrat of them - saving face is more important than saving lives....
The “besmirching” is now on a grand scale. Never gonna get that “good” rep back.
